so i "dropped" my gs3 in water. screen went nuts i let it out to dry and after 2 days it amazingly still is working but it runs really hot and battery only lasts 2 hours. found out that i have asurion and i would have to pay 99 bucks to get it fixed. and im like **** well there goes my plan on asking them to replace it for an iphone. then i thought wait its working right now. i took it to my local verizon store had some guy look at it. he goes you ever root it and im like no..... "dodgy: then he goes ok well we can get you a replacment sent out being that its under its own warrantee. im like SWEEEEEEET saved my self 99 bucks but also have my opening to ask for a replacement of a iphone 5.
replacement phone should be here wednesday. i have to use my battery and im going to think that the battery is causing the phone to get hot and or adding to it not holding a charge. but if the phone works fine ( i think it will) ill just flash a stock Verizon image with odin and pull the usb mid way. go back there and say that the phone worked then turn the phone off and turned it back on and nothing. and make a deal saying that i had an iphone before this and i just want to go back to an iphone. can you please replace this with an iphone 5.
boom. hopefully it works (doubt it they'll probably just send me another gs3) but worth a shot. ]
