Just got a Fusion FX.
Hey all,
Recently picked up a Fusion FX on the urging of a friend (sithballer), who has been over the moon with his G4 (and having my 07 PMR fail again...). So far really happy with this Marker price and performance are really good. Hardest thing has been changing over from all the maintenance and ORings of my old PMR.
I also must say I'm very impressed with the DP community here on PBNation. it's amazing how active and helpful the folks are here!
Going forward I am figuring on getting a TechT Law Ram and a Hush Bolt in before summer for upgrades.
Made a minor change to a yellow macroline outside that it's still fairly stock currently...

another thing to pick up is the new DP detents, they are offset and you do not have to trim them at all...I would highly suggest them along with the techt law ram and the hush bolt......
The FX is a very good marker, highly underrated in my opinion...

Yeah that was what drew me to the FX, for the cost with a few minor upgrades it can be tuned to be a pretty sweet marker.

Leaks as in where at? macroline fittings, asa, regulator, breach?
is the leak somewhere different each time you air it up? or the same leak?
I have aired my fx up at least a few dozen times since i put it back together and have yet to get any leaks, I also do not experience any type of chopping at all and have shot paint that was extremely crappy stuff....
I use the new DP offset detents, techt pro version hush bolt, and literally have never experienced any issues at all...

One thing i'd recommend is to save some money off to the side for another ASA. The RAPS have been known to shear o-rings and once it starts, it doesn't seem to stop. This has happened to me and a few other people on the forums and fields I have played at.
Just throwing that out there.

Good to know and something to be aware of going forward, with some luck that will be some time away if ever...

agree 100 percent, I actually use the bob long cam drive on my fx
and the added plus for me using the cam drive is that the macroline is under the trigger frame completely, almost feels macroless...

exactly, since they charge 7.50 for shipping, I would honestly add a couple of poppets with the order as well, they are 9.00 each..
At least it will make it worth paying the shipping, i ordered 24 detents for me and justicexd when i placed my order. But i also ordered a few poppets, magnets, back screen covers and some screws i needed....
