Im 190 and i ride 153/154's and ive never had a problem idk what everyone else thinks

on a side note burton sent me a brand new 2012 board for free to replace my broke one even after they said they were not going to

mammoth got over a foot today and the resort near my school is getting dusted right now.

I need to swoop up some baselayer/long underwear. Any suggestions on where to pick up some cheap quality? Im planning on riding everyday and i have some sweet goretex pants

I bought mine at walmart in the hunting section. they have all kinds of cold weather gear cause hunting season is in the middle of winter. i doubt your walmart has a hunting section but they should still carry long underwear.

thats really big for a 154. i would say that you wouldn't be able to hold an edge when you put your weight into it. basically, no a 153/4 is way to small for that much weight

well i don't know if BMI counts, but im 186 with a BMI of 8% so its not just fat weight. i mean i've ridden my friends 148 board and i could hold a pretty good edge, which is why i want to try the 153 banana

no you couldn't. fat and muscle doesn't matter to a board, weight is the only thing that it can pick up on. its like your foot size. it doesn't really care if you have athletes for or whatever, the board will still be to small if your foot is a foot too big. what you really need to do is look up the weight charts and the effective edge. thats going to tell you more than some kid who says he he weight 240 and rides a kids 129, and says its fine.
