I want to rage against the world. I want to beat it into submission. I want it to see the hate in my eyes, to feel the rage pouring out of me in blow after blow delivered in a fury that could only be fueled by insanity. I want to shake it so violently that it's afraid it may break and I want to scream with such primal ferocity that it reaches back into the darkest parts of an age when men cowered in caves at the sound of demons. Then, after the wave has subsided and I let go I want to watch it slump into a broken mass, whimpering. When the word "why?" crosses it's bloody swollen lips the only reply that will come is "yes... why?".

I had a boot who just checked in say he wasn't new or a boot.....he was sorry he said that to who he didn't know was his squad leader/ section leader....

Initial enlistees are 18x. If youre in SWIC I believe you keep your old title, until youre awarded 18abcdefg.

SWIC is a Navy thing, they have Rates not MOSs. So they would be GM2 or MM1 or BMC or something along those lines... unless they have changed it to one inclusive Rate in the past few years.
And SOPC guys still go through the same basic that the rest of the 11 series goes through... they just have lots of stuff added on afterword.

SWCC-special weapons combatant crewmen is now the rate of SB, all in service members cross rate to it now. same with eod, diver except for those in rates were they only need 2nd class scuba

Like 8 mile ruck-runs with a 45lb pack. I have no idea how the cadre dont kill themselves cycle after cycle. Ive been at bragg too long, I initially read that as SWCS. Oops.

Hey sniper, my friend is a corpsman and he sees action over there. Yes hes saving lives but hes still in the field with them so chances are hes taken them aswell. If you dont think you could take another person's life the military period isnt for you.
