My g4 is leaking through the Feedneck. Lube and replaced the oring behind the Feedneck and nothing. I took it to the field I go to and the guy said its something in the solenoid don't remember the piece he said but they seem to think any leak is caused by the solenoid. Any help?

not the solenoid. check your stem oring thats on the back cap.

I'm using a tech t bolt. Well both actually. It leaks with both bolts.

I don't own an oring pick though I should but is there any way to get the feedneck oring out without the pick?

There is a stem that is attached to the back cap. At the end of the stem is an o ring, lube it or maybe replace. That would cause both bolts to leak. I think that is what XMC was saying.

use a toothpick. also before you do that air it up and place your finger in front of the bolt. if you feel pressure building up then its the stem oring.

Only things can cause feedneck or breech leak. Breech oring, stem oring or sail oring on your techt and something is causing them not to work properly. Reason why they leak:
1. Breech is dirty where the oring sits- clean it with alcohol or brush it in the sink with tooth brush with soap. Common sense you shall disassemble the whole gun for this
2. Orings are worn or damage- change it
3. There are debri on the bolt or where the bolt cycle through-clean it there may be gunk in there and adding more lube creates more gunk.
4. Wrong size orings-change it

If the soleniod leaks it would in the frame or the bolt will get stuck forward position. Easiest and cheapest fix is clean your gun internally.

Thanks a lot. I thought it was but someone who only techs dye guns probably wouldn't know much about dangerous power even though I'm sure a leaking solenoid does the same on a dm. Ill try when I get home. But it actually isn't really even a leak its more of a gush which I should've written in the title.

But I used to have this problem and I changed the macro fittings and it stopped. Took it to the field to shoot and it started to "leak" again.

they have a different execution. DP are more simplier and cheaper to troubleshoot.

try changing that oring and if that doesnt solve it let me know. i live pretty close to you so i can probably take a look at it if you cant figure out

I'm in school now so I don't have the gun in front of me but if I separate the grip from the body will I be able to get to the breech and take out the feedneck oring?

Nah man...you will need to reach in there..its awkward to get out but I bet its that sealing oring the bolt sits on...that's my typical culprit.

go to an ace hardware and get a pick. they cost like a buck.

you can make this pick a little dull so you don't accidentally scratch the breech. its easier with the metal one but the plastic pick is safer.

ya bro the one behind the breach gets chewed up fast. after u dry fire a bit does the leak get less intense? i put my finger in and spun it a 180 and that stoped my same leak

The leak itself is really quiet. If it got quieter I'd need a sound detector or something to pick it up lol. But my problem is my hands are friggen big so I can't get anywhere until I get the pick.

sometimes mine would leak ever so slightly untill i would dryfire a few times or it would immediately seal up if i shot even just one paintball...always thought it was strange lol
