I kinda meant like i said, feed me - who used to dj as spor and apparently had a wicked show, is now doing the same canned show every time and is gravitating to this huge live show with extravagant production - but doesn't even deliver a very satisfying dj set in the first place

I despise the thought of that...paying to see a pre-arranged set.

yeah, the most i pre-arrange is my intro songs so im not picking something at random at right before, but after the 3rd song its all on the fly.

Yay! New thread lol. Anyways. I have some new tracks up on soundcloud. http://soundcloud.com/dj_eyeronik

I would love to get some good feedback on them. Let me know what i did good and what i could do better on. Thanks guys!

Also, im with cook on vik on this one. After the first 2-3 songs in my set its all on the fly. I dont like having everything all set out. I like to play and follow the crowd, and whatever the crowd responds to i feed off of it and keep going in that direction.

you mean like all these people?

Steve Angello took it a step further though when he actually mixed the tracks in logic before his set.

Around 4:10-4:20 is pretty noticeable

Seb Ingrosso does the same thing, every mash up he does and stuff live is all pre-done, he just fiddles with the eq and fx. the only one of them three ive seen actually mixing is axwell

Axwell has always been my favorite out of the three.
He never disappoints

Did someone say "pre-arranged set"?

I'm biased as **** when I say this but, I don't mind mau5 set just because the arrangement is so good. When I saw him in the summer he 'dropped' the perfect tracks at the perfect moments.

Last time I saw deadmau5 was EDC 2010 and god that was an awful set.

Out of the 8 times I've seen deadmau5, (in 3 different states) my favorite were the ones at Beta night club. Ultra wasnt that bad, but still nothing mind blowing.

The deadmau5 I know plays 6-7 min version of his songs so it never felt like he was dropping the perfect track at the perfect moment.

I've noticed him doing that too. He did it for his MTV Canada performance and a couple of other shows I've seen on YouTube; playing his tracks in their entirety almost...Like Cthulhu Sleeps for 8 minutes, then into Raise Your Weapon in its entirety...I agree it's lame.

Speaking of Christmas: My best friend who's been DJing on a Mixtrack Pro for 5 months and still can't beat match is getting his parents to buy him an S4 and Dre Beats for Christmas... I'm so jealous and mad.

That is one of the most pathetic things I have ever seen. Who the **** pays him for that?
