My opinion:
Paintball is the grown-up version of airsoft. I played airsoft when I was 10, then I turned 14, bought an old Spyder, and never looked back. I only play airsoft now when my kid brothers and their friends need an extra player.
Air soft is fun and all but paintball all the way. I played paintball first then tried air soft and I was pretty boring compared to paintball. Don't get me wrong air soft is cool and all if you can't afford to play paintball, but paintball hands down
Airsoft is stupidly fun in big games, other than that...meh.

Paintball would probably be fun once in a while. Air soft is ****ing lame. Want to shoot something that looks like what the military is issued? Go to any gun shop and buy an AR.
There is an airsoft subforum in OT, and the rest of PbN might actually care about paintball. Give those places a shot.
