Of course, that's just my opinion.

I mean the $70 per case yeah that's steep. It would be nice to be able to just choose from what the shop has, since I personally like prem on most days.
My point was more directed at the prize aspect. When I used to sign up for the hogan's tournaments (according to the guys in the shop) other teams wouldn't sign up until we had hit the however many teams was needed to give out axes or minis or whatever. Then we would end up with not enough teams at all and the tournaments got cancelled. Made me mucho sad cuz I just cared about not only having to play recball anymore...not what the prizes were.

You'd be asking the refs to be able to differentiate the kinds of paint being shot? That is just asking for trouble.

also, if i may, to those that are basically *****ing about paint price, at major tournaments such as PSP and the NPPL, without sponsors Evil is 70 a case and GI Purple is 70 as well. So get some sponsors and sign up for this tournament becuase the more teams that show up and pay to play, the better the prizes will be. Not to say, "you wont." but im just sayin........

i know its not a major tourney and its just a 3 man, but its just simply how much nick feels he should charge for a case. id love to shoot white box @ matts for 30 a case and buy two cases for less than one case of marbs, but @ hogans its just the way it is.

Any idea what the field paint would be for the tourney? I would think it would be perhaps Marbilizer with the cool weather? I'm not sure how All-Star would handle in the cooler temps or if that's even an option/consideration.

If it was all-star that would be killer all the same. I got a bag and finally had an excuse to use my 675 barrel back with my pump. So small and so accurate, little laser beams of green death.

Anybody else notice that Matts is doing a 3-man the exact same day now?

its not coincidence that Matts just sporadically gets a tournament up and running 2 weeks after HAP announces theirs. As if a turnout was slim to none already.....but its all just business

I remember when the local tournies were scheduled apart so each field had a shot at getting the teams to come in without conflict.

Tabris, what history are you recalling? Matt's and Hogan's specifically always were engaged in schedule wars for as long as I can remember.

ya they have always scheduled at least one tourney on the same day. hogans usually pulled the larger crowd as well..
regardless its pretty stupid at this point but i know why their doing it... although i dont like the classification restrictions, that could be a problem of theirs

There are 3 weekends in 2012 that I can't make a tournament. That weekend is one of those weekends. Otherwise I'd be there, with or without prizes.
