***What Barrel Setup is King***
I own way to Many pump markers for my own good now, but I only have one barrel (Deadly Winds Fibur W/684 insert) hands down greatest barrel i have ever shot. however i am looking on picking up a second so when i loan out one of my pumps, these people too can enjoy playing pump without dealing with roll outs. and when im not playing Tournaments i dont have to play with my Carbon barrel in the woods. I'm just trying not to spend another $100. also looking for something that can include inserts. Any opinions would be appreciated.

One option might be boring out barrels you already have for freak inserts.

not sure if people are being trolls, or are really that dumb. you have the best at the moment, with the deadlywind... but if you want a cheap backup, grab the smallest bore (i think it's .682?) CP barrel at whatever length you want. Rarely has roll-outs, and is as accurate as anything for 30 bucks.

CP's smallest bore is .679. Not a great option if you're looking for a whole barrel kit, though.
CCM will allow you to build a nice little barrel kit for under $100, pick your own bores. If I remember correctly, you can get two bores and a front for around $65.
By the way, don't let this get out of hand. I'm not really supposed to allow it.

Generous forum captain :] I actually think you should get another DW Fibur barrel and get a freak kit. Let them use one of the inserts. I'm pretty sure a bore smaller or bigger than the one you are using at the time will work fine.

I don't know why people suggest things that are more expensive than he clearly stated he wants to spend. Read what he wants and respond based off of that.

If you can find them the Powerlyte Scepter kit is a great option. They really came down in price after the company went AWOL. They still show up on ebay and the bst every so often. I got one when they came out, and its all I shoot. Not as light as your CF, but shoots as good imho.

Another vote for the Eigen Barrel. Once I got it, I used it on every single marker that I can. The only time I don't use it is in the woods and when I play back, a 16" is much nicer for those.

I have a deadly wind with ss inserts and for whatever reason it shoots like crap, very inconsistent on my victory, where my bob long two piece kit is super consistent. I had a bob long one piece milled out for freak inserts and it also shoots terrible. This is all with the same paint. The deadly wind does seem to perform well on my pumps though. However with paint getting so small and the freak inserts not going small enough for the pumps and giving me roll outs, I picked up an ifit. I am very happy with it. Put that on the back of my kaner or bob long and it shoots amazing. Just personal experiences.

.682 kaner is my personal favorite, but hard to find as an individual barrel.

For the price, I like CPs. I use .682, .685, 14" tip all for $80 (you can add on later). If you want to spend a little more and get 5 bore sizers, a couple of tips and one back, get the new Gat Products, barrel kit for $120. Still your best bet is asking people at your local field if you can try their set up and see if which one you really like.
Have fun and good luck with your search!
