looking at a used 30d canon but what lens should i get cause dont they come seperate ?

depends on what you plan on shooting. And honestly spend a little more and get the 40D. it's worth the extra few bucks.

please PLEASE don't shoot flowers...ppl do it and think it's "Artsy"...so cliche...unless you are doing something like a HUGE flower field etc.

Anywho, as far as for shooting paintball, you can get a cheap lens, OR you can get a good lens, at a decent price, and you won't need to worry about upgrading for a while.

I started with a Sigma 70-300. it's a cheap lens, yes, but it's SLOW to focus.

I would SUGGEST a Canon 70-200 f4L non IS for around $450-550. It's a pretty versatile lens. Also, a 50 1.8 would be a great second lens (or first lens but you're probably not going to get the results you typically see in your photography with that lens )

a rebel would be something to look into as well.

it's a super secret process, Brotato...but here's the summary of the super complicated process I had to go through.

I showed up, went to the table, paid 10 monies, and got a pit pass.

then I shot the dudz on the funny motorcycles

I did email ahead to make sure there were no special requirements, and all they told me is that I needed a pit pass.
