Superior league?

What do you guys all think is the superior league? I'm really just now starting to follow the pro tourneys and here the PSP and NPPL have about the same number of threads. Is it like, the NFC and AFC?

I am think more along the lines of Football, and Arena football......both are football, just with two complete different playing styles....both are paintball just two different leagues/formats

This. Less confusing format arrangement, better webcast, better commentary, etc....

The PSP has their ish together. NPPL, not so much.

Now that NPPL is using the race to format I would say its more apples to apples. The question should be. Who does the race to format better. Lets see about that. PSP!

imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

You take out a couple of the nppl cool venue spots, and nppl can't touch the psp.

Depends on what you are looking for. Xball (PSP) is a much faster paced game with simple rules. Shoot the other guys, hang the flag, win more games than the other team. I believe PSP is good for players of all levels and ages to watch and enjoy. It allows people to be involved with the coaching and the basic format is easy to follow.

NPPL is a slower paced game that has more methodical play. To someone who has been playing for a while, they may enjoy this more because they are more likely to understand what is going on. To new players though, the 7 man NPPL format can be drawn out and boring. The one thing NPPL has over the PSP is venues. NPPL Huntington beach is the best location for an event and NPPL Vegas is, well, Vegas. PSP and NPPL share the Chicago venue and Jersey and DC are pretty similar.

If you are just starting to get into tournaments, I would suggest you watch both. It is always good to know the basics of each league and how to play each.

New Man on the Job

Hey Guys, we didn't really copy the psp, we adopted the milliniem series only its 7 man instead of 5 man. Both formats in the US are great and I'm here to tell you we have a lot of new exciting things to bring to the sport and the mass public who play for 2013. I'm on the job now and I promise i will make the nppl the envy of the world or dye trying. I came close to dying several times during the past 2 years fighting for my life needing a liver transplant. Now i just want to make a difference and make paintball better for the entire world. Give me a chance and I promise i'll show you what i'm talking about. So come with me and get ready to enjoy the ride.

Both leagues blow. Divisional prize wise, none are worth participating in like they used to be.

Oh the days of actual prizes..

Prize Package

Your right about the prizes but give me a chance to get the right sponsors involved and we can get the team numbers up, the entry fees down and the prize package worth winning. I only ask for time to prove I have the pudding, and that with all your help and trust we can only move forward.
