How well will a standard stabilizer work at 150-180psi? I will be shooting fast, probebly in the 12-13bps range. Will the stabilzer keep up, or should i go with the low pressure spring kit.

you would need a Low Pressure kit.

No you don't. The standard spring pack will work fine at that pressure. But, you will get finer adjustments out of the low pressure spring set, as well as having the overpressure relief.

try out useing the fatty version of the stablizer. its sposed to work better at extremly low pressures. i use one on my cocker and have never had any kind of a problem. its operating at like 270 which is near its max pressure but it works great

I thought the max of the Fatty was 400psi. I would get an LP spring kit because it will greatly help the Stab out, and it is cheaper than buying a fatty.

A male stabilizer is somewhere around 100 bucks, plus the spring kit. right now on palmer's site you can get a nickel fatty for the same price that a black one would be, but you would need to check that. the stabilizer has a ratio of 70:1, meaning the input pressure has to change 70 psi for the output pressure to change 1 psi. the fatty has a ratio of 90:1 and has a faster recharge rate. look into the fatty for sure.

just checked Palmer's site, the fatty is $89 right now, where the male stabilizer is $100+ low pressure spring kit unless you buy the spring kit and the stabilizer at the same time. and the fatty regulation rate is 92:1.

I picked up a female stabilizer used, and Im just going to use it in combination with my stock reg for best co2 results.
