I have a 2010 Tippmann 98 platinum.. I recently got a leak near my macro line... But I cannot pin where the issue is.. Any ideas? Anyone.

You added a macro line? Have you tried pulling it out of the fitting and reseating it?

The metal tube thingy.. I thought it was called a macro line. It runs from the Asa to the middle of the gun.

That's just an air hose. Since it screws into the asa I doubt it's leaking there so you may just need to reseat the line where it goes into the powertube.

Take your ASA off and open your gun. Unscrew the line from both ends. Scrape off any Loctite crap thats on the line. Put some teflon tape on both ends and screw it back in tight. Should do it.

Which end is it leaking from?

I know on the Platinum Series, which you state you have, the gas line attaches to the valve via an inverted flare fitting. If it is leaking from the valve end of the hose just tighten it up and it should stop leaking. Also I believe the ASA side is some kind of flare or compression fitting. Just tighten it up if that area as well. If tightening it up does not work call up Tippmann Customer Service and tell them the air line is leaking. They will send you a new one.
