back from the dead
hey all,
i gave up on my nme a while ago, but recently decided to give it another try.
i created a make shift cure bolt and i've been looking to stick a timmy front block on the front. which one fits on the front again? i've searched up and found some results but i'm curious what ur guy's personal opinions are on the matter.
thanks
Seal6

sure will, you will just have to drill/dremel your grip frame a little bit to make sure you have space for the barb on the front block
here is mine with evil front block, LPR and HPR
You can get the front block/ LPR/ bolt kit for 19.99 here http://www.discountpaintball.com/Clo...des_c_226.html

I always put the Alias Front Block on but I've seen them with the 2k2, Alias and Evil Front Blocks. If I recall there is one or two that don't fit though. You will have to tap the body of course for a grub screw to secure the front block in place.

btw, i'm doing this for the sake of fun and to get rid of the ****ing front hose, but is there any noticeable performance difference? i doubt there would be much, but i just hope im not taking a step backwards here. a weak point in the nme was always the hpr/lpr

You probably won't see any noticable performacne difference unless you use an SCM-III LPR and a 2-liter or Sidewinder HPR.
The stock NME LPR and HPR are both pretty good and on par with any of the available HPRs and LPRs for Timmy's. The NME HPR is internally identical to the Bob Long Torpedo regs that were used on gen 4 and prior Timmy's. The AKA regs are the only exception. Those are pretty much the best regs ever made for any marker, period.
