Ok I have talk to the man in charge! He said we could do one but we need People to confirm that they will come and play and also I need some input.

Format

7 Man (NPPL Style)
15bps (MAN Ball)
best 2 out of three(You will play one team at least two times)
NO COACHING!! (The old way the crowd could not talk)
D2 and Under! (APPA will be check)
Prizes! Depends on how many team sign up (Maybe cash)

This is to see if we can get some people to play. We need serious people that want to play so tell everyone about this Swat,Lethal.PBC,Frenzy,S.E.X,and ETC.

This is a way to see if we can get teams together to have a nice Old School Tourny with some new style rules.

good idea, but i think we should have it on the speedball field instead...

Yeah but Remember we have to get Teams to come like at least 5 to 6

LAX always has good Tourny's and there Hyperball field is prolly one of the best I have seen in the south.

How about make it a 5 man instead of 7 and use 10.5 bps. It's been so long since I've played on that field.

The whole point is to do something in the old style of playing. If it was normal airfield and 10.5 nothing will be different. I think the whole "Old School Tourny with some new style rules" statement is throwing people off of what you want BJ. You should just say an Old School Tourney. Either way id like to play in a good local tournament

10.5 is not Old style : N

ow the 5 man could be done. But this Field is large it's a NPPL 10 man field. i will get the pics soon as i can and all can see what we are saying.

If you want old style them make it 10 man and semi only. Now you are going back in the day.....

BTW Ive got tons of pics of this field. Most are right after it was built before Drew owned it. Its a badass field.

I’m telling you right now, if LAX puts a team in, considering how long some of us have played on that field (years), it will be very hard to beat us.

I know every blind shot, nook, and cranny of that field.

Cool, but who's going to ref?

A tournament on this field will be fun, but because of the type of field and opportunity for cheating, I don't see a big money serious tournament working out well.

How about a straight streetball type of play? Teams decide on entry and decide how much of that goes to the winners. Purely just to get teams out and have more players than usual on any given day.

Airball would be pointless. You may have no appreciation for it, but the point of this tournament is to relive the old style of play. You can play a tournament on an airball field any given weekend.

Streetball sounds like a good idea
