any high quality paintball oil will work for 95% of the marker. DO NOT use grease on the rammer/bolt. obviously PE oil will work, but Extreme Rage oil has been shipped with PE markers in the past. there are some parts in the regs that may require grease; see manual for those parts

Planet Eclipse E-Oil, Extreme Rage oil, PMI oil, or Gold Cup oil can be used with pretty much any part of an ETek. (Pretty much any oil made for paintball markers will do the trick.) As stated before, check your manual to see which parts require the use of a grease type lubricant.

Use your favourite oil everywhere except on the regs and 'noid where you should use your favourite grease. I use Gold Cup and DOW 33.

Use Planet Eclipse Gun Oil for the rammer and bolt, and use some kind of grease on the LPR and HPR Piston o-rings. I use Dow33, but there are tons of different ones you can use. I believe the manual tells you what you can oil/grease, just look around in it.

Yeah, Eclipse's oil would probably be the best.

I use Extreme Rage Oil, really thin stuff and it works great. I use Hatersauce for my LPR and Regulator. I've had the tiny little can thingy of Hatersauce for over 2 years now and it's not even close to being gone. Lol. Same with the oil.

Planet used to suggest that you could use vaseline - not so much because it was the best thing to use, but because it worked, and was something that was cheap and freely available. They wanted to be able to suggest a grease that everyone would have access to.

However, it is generally acknowledged that you would be better off using a grease more specific to the purpose - Planet's own grease is obviously the preferred grease, but Sl33k, or any of the Dow33 derived, paintball specific greases could also be used.

It's true that you can use vaseline, and indeed, Planet used to suggest it's use, but that was because they wanted to be able to suggest something that was cheap, freely available pretty much anywhere, that most people would have in their house already, and that everyone knew what it was (as compared to recommending that the E-Blade solenoid be lubricated with Wurth HHS 2000 for instance).

Using generic Dow33, or one of the paintball specific variations marketed by several different paintball companies would be preferable.
