Hi I have an 06 quest and it has broken the bolt 2 times.
Is this a problem quest have ? I want to purchase a new bolt
but since it has already broken 2 bolts I do not want to risk it
again. Can someone help me out with this ?

From my understanding earlier versions of the goldmember bolt had some issue that made them weak and it had a higher possibility to break. I'm pretty sure if you buy the critical rsf bolt you shouldn't have any issues.

Basically, the spokes in the centre of the bolt come back very close to the middle o-ring, and the o-ring groove there is pretty deep anyway, with little metal under it, so those two things combined make for a bit of a weak spot. Combine that with the fact that there is no front bumper, and the consequent shock of firing, and the bolt can fracture. If you happen to be running a higher than average LPR pressure, that only makes matters worse.
Both the Critical RSF bolt and the Thin Air Sports 4B bolts strengthen this area of the bolt - the RSF has only four large spokes rather than losts of small ones, and the 4B bolt doesn't turn down the width of the bolt down over the spokes, and doesn't run the spokes back as close to the o-ring groove. Both bolts also feature a front bumper. Both should be less susceptible to breakage than the stock bolt or Goldmember bolt.

Don't want to stick my neck out and so you'll never suffer a broken bolt again - don't want to open myself to being sued! - but bolt breakage should be considerably less likely than with the FEP bolts.
Hahaha your in the UK do they sue there ? cause when I used to live in the netherlands that is not possible only in the states hehehe. And thnx for the info
