ITS TIME FOR SOME BORDER WARS!

Im not one to typically post much info on any upcoming SPLATTERZONE events, but theres SOOOOO much going on at this event I figured id at least give the schedule, and a little more.

6am- Sign in opens/Player Chronographing begins
9am- Orientation at the Main Stage (Photo Op for the Merc/Border Patrol team). Chronos closed.
9:45am- Officer meeting with their Commanders. Players head to their Bases. Chronos open.
10:00am-1:00pm GAME ON!
SPP/ECLIPSE Target Shoot open for fun from 10am-1pm
1:00pm-2:00pm LUNCH BREAK.
1:00pm-3:00pm- SPP/ECLIPSE Target Shoot open for all players to play in a timed Target Shoot to try to win a new ETEK 3 paintball marker. BYOP for the target shoot, and all players will be shooting this AWESOME new marker during the timed event. Winner will be announced at the post game prize drawing, and must be at the Main Stage at 7pm to win.
1:00pm-3:00pm- SPP "CELEBRITY DUNK TANK". Come try your luck and throw some balls at the DUNK TANK DUMMIES. Full list of CELEB's listed below (Participants and times may change prior to the game). This will be a 50/50 game where one participant will win 50% of the money raised, and 50% will be going toward the Open Door Rehad Center in Sandwich, Il. Winner will be announced at the prize drawing at 7pm, need not be present to win.
1:45pm- Commander's Duel in The GAUNTLET.
2:00pm- The GAUNTLET! Play in one of Paintballs most INSANE paintball Gauntlet ever created. Two simple objectives (On paper), but extremely difficult to accomplish as HUNDREDS of players shoot it out inside a small area made up of two X BALL fields. This is one feature you dont want to miss.
2:45pm- Pm chronographs open. Back to your bases in the woods to start the second half of the game.
3:00pm-7:00pm GAME ON!!
7:00pm- Head to the Main Stage for the Post Game show, prize drawing, and activities. More Celebs in the Dunk Tank for some last minute fund raising.

Heres the current line up for the DUNK TANK DUMMIES

SPLATTERZONE will be bringing their new "DUNK TANK" to TRAINING DAY VII. This will be set up right next to the SPP/ECLIPSE Target Shoot and will be open from 1-3pm.

The cost will be $3.00 for three throws. We will be holding a 50/50 drawing at the Prize Drawing at the end of the Scenario. 50% of the proceeds will be going to The Open Door Rehab Facility in Sandwich, and the other 50% will go to one of the players that helped dunk the dummies in the tank (Need not be present to win).

Just a few people to dunk this year;
1:00pm- PYROMAN- Yes, I will get in the tank as long as my hair doesnt get wet, lol. I will be the first one in the tank at 1:00pm during the lunch break.

2:00pm- "COSMO" Kramer Walper
2:15pm- Art Coop- Now who the hell wouldnt want to dunk his fat arse?
2:30pm- Tim Glavin- Owner of Fox Paintball. Most likely be around 2:30 after hes done cooking food.
2:45pm Will "TABLE JESUS" Langer
7:00pm- Scott "SAUERKRAUT" Simon (SEALS Commander)

We are looking for volunteers this Sat and Sun to come out to help up for TRAINING DAY VII. We will be building towers, putting together the Border for the game, cleaning the back fields, setting up the Target Shoot and Dunk Tank, Painting signs, etc. etc.
Try to be there by 10am. FREE lunch for all that help out.

We love it! Try to wear something orange (T Shirt or Vest), or we can let you borrow one of ours for the day.
You will still need to sign a waiver if you plan on going onto the field to take pictures.
And try to get a copy of your pictures to Tim within a week after the game and he will try to get them posted on the Fox site right away.

One last minute question, is it ok to use childrends paint in homemade grenades or do we have to use paintball paint, not really sure what the difference is tho.

Fox only allows manufactured paint grenades to be used at the field. No home made paint grenades allowed, sorry.
Thats pretty much industry wide. Some fields may allow it, but most will not.

Well, I live again!
Slept for 14 hours straight, got up to pee, went back to bed and took a 4 hour nap.

Once again, I cannot thank everyone enough for another great event. We do put alot of time, effort, money, blood sweat and tears into setting up this event, but it wouldnt be a successful event at all if it werent for the AWESOME players we get out at Fox each year.
With having 500+ players at the field on a day with not so perfect weather, we had no fights, one very minor injury, and very few issues on the field.
To me, running these events on game day is like the movie CRANK. I need to keep moving in order to stay alive. I was hurting and almost passed out a few times, but when the lunch hour hit, I got that boost I needed. Three hours of good playtime in the morning, nice warm dunk tank water (We raised $320. 1/2 will go to The Open Door Rehab Center in Sandwich Il, and the other 1/2 goes to Jessy Bush for the 50/50 drawing. And no, the water was not warm). Then I jumped into the ECLIPSE Target Shoot and helped run the booth while watching some very skilled shooters. Very cool that a Fox Sponsored player won with a time under 10 seconds, and then he donated the gun to a player at the post game prize drawing. Very nice D LUX from team UNDERGROUND. He snuck away without getting full recognition for doing this.
And then, there was The GAUNTLET! Another year of ABSOLUTE INSANITY. Playing in The GAUNTLET takes alot of balls. We had alot of watchers this year, but we stilled counted 300+ on the field.
The afternoon Missions ran pretty smooth. Setting up two or three part Missions is difficult. I know the drug dealer 3" was on the field for an hour waiting for his, uh, "Delivery", but the firefight was in the Village (California), and the Mexican team couldnt get away.
Tanks ran good even though we had one tank crew not show up, and one tank blow up. Still worked out since it was one per team. Special thanks goes out to Brian from LAPU LAPU Brigade for bringing out the TIYANAK tank, and to Camo Joe for bringing out the BONECRACKER I tank (And to Joe for getting into the dunk tank)
The Merc's (Border Patrol) had a great time shooting the hell out of anything that came close to the borderl.

All in all, another HUGE success for SPLATTERZONE and Fox Paintball. Time to get started on next years event. Ill work some magic to get our two brave Generals back for next years event. Ill have to see what bribes I can make to keep both Charlie and Scott on for another year. I knew I should have made them sign a 10 year contract. Just remember, we kept you out of the dunk tank this year, so that should be a start for my arse kissing, right? Looks like ill have to break out those photos I was saving for Hustler.

Congrats to the SEALS! You guys put up one hell of a charge this year. Very organized.
Rangers- Great effort on your part too. I heard alot of firefights all day long. Your Base defence was invincible, maybe to invincible. There were several Ranger players that got shot at your base that couldnt get to their ID Badges soon enough. But then again, your base didnt get blown either.

AWESOME, AMAZING, INCREDIBLE game!! Im working on TDVIII right now, and im writing Scott and Charlie in with permanent marker.
