EDIT: I wanted to word my post a little different. Really, we're looking for more people from the area that want to play Paintball. We're not limited to weekends but really, with work/field time those are the most probable days that we'll end up playing. We split the driving and gas. I speak German and make all the arrangements with the Fields etc. We're not currently part of a team but are not opposed to attending team training.

Right now we're looking at Schwabach and Fuerth and we've been to Jungle Paintball in Tutenhain as well. If you want to tag along with us, or you just have questions about Paintball in Bavaria, let me know.

UPDATE: Planning on hitting a field on Saturday, 11 August 2012. We plan on leaving early in the morning. If interested, reply or PM to ensure we got enough seats in the car. We have a limited amount of spare gear/markers.

Hey, im stationed in vilseck, been looking to play some paintball but i dont have an F stamp on my marker, how would i go about getting it around here? Id love to start playing again but obviously, as you know, there arent any fields nearby....let me know if we can play together!

What Year/Make/Model marker is it? That will really determine where you can get an F-Stamp done.

I will be out of town the weekend of 3-6 August but we have plans to go on the weekend of the 10th. We have 2 cars available and we can split the gas or whatever, not that worried about it.

ah cool....its a 2010 pmr....id love to go with on that weekend...im looking forward to playing soon! ....but if i cant get it f stamped soon, do you know if any of your guys have a loner i could borrow to play that weekend?....gas and driving wont be a problem....keep me posted man, appreciate it!

Marco who owns the store is the guy who F-Stamped my Ego and I know he carries Proto guns because I bought one there. He should be able to help you and it's close to Vilseck.

This is shaping up nice, there might be 4 to 6 people going this trip.

BTW: Do you care if it's Woodsball or Speedball?

Long time D2 GPL player here; I'm a bit late to this thread (and balling in Germany, I've been here since 07 :s I also haven't played since 06 or so...), but what is this F stamp? I'm assuming it's through TUV?

Also, how's it working for us (military) getting tanks shipped into / out of here? As long as they are disassembeled?

Okay, the German gun laws are very strict and even covers paintball markers. The f-stamp lifts the requirement to register that "firearm" and you don't need a licence to carry it to and from playing fields. It's much more complex then that, but in a nutshell you need an f stamp on your marker or you are carrying a unregistered firearm. Also by this law your marker is not supposed to shoot above 214 FPS approx. And no paintball can leave the designated play area (the netting).

You can fully functional tanks shipped to you as long as they are empty, though if you are flying with your paintball gear make sure your tank as all DoT and airline requirements, is empty and TSA may make you take your regulator apart. So if you are flying from Germany and back to the states it's best to check with your airline before you fly and if you plan on taking your gear.

Hey, I'm in graf.... I ball almost every weekend.... I have played in the DPL and XPSL now for about 8 years, in D1,2, and 3.... I help train a few of the younger teams in GERA, and at FVP in furth. I have a good Idea of when all the team training is, because I get messages from the players letting me know. so if you guys want I can post that info... In doing so, this will more then likely cut your cost of playing paintball in half! (after you get in good with the teams)and let you play better players. also, If any of you are interested in playing paintball at a D1-D5 level (D1 is the highest that the DPL offers), post here, then please PM me... I will be able to find you a home... (thats only if you will give everything!!!! Ie, show up for all events, and practices)

Im in Ansbach, I play up at Hahn with my team, but looking to play closer to Ansbach to save gas in between my team practices

We car pool to make gas cheaper for everyone, normally ends up being my car because it's gone one of them hippy engines.
