I think what Tim is saying that if you got it and you can set the lock without making the ROF illegal, then YES…. Lock it. However if this players case where he is having issues that he can’t set his lock without the ROF going over, then it will be fine not to set your lock but the refs will know when your ROF increases during a game and you will be penalized accordingly.

In the reffing guide, it mentions hoppers not having stickers on them. This isn't covered in the rule book. I believe last year stickers on loaders was permissible. I guess my question is are stickers allowed on hoppers or not?

Ignore that comment in the ref guide. Stickers are fine.

That being said, if you have a big sticker on your hopper that is the same color as the paint, you do run the risk of being called out because of it. Would it be a mistake for the ref to call you out? Yes, but that is a pretty easy mistake to make, and once you are called out you are out. Just keep that in mind.

I've called a player out before because of this same thing... it happens. Best bet is to not have stickers.

Understood. Just wanted to make sure if my guys needed to get their hoppers naked.

One last question. How late is to late to add a player to our roster. We're waiting for him to send me his APPA number.

Edit: Never mind. I'm a dufus. I just saw Dan posted the answer on the other thread

We didn't get one of our guys rostered... can I PM you his APPA info? Sorry for the screw up. We are playing Open, so there are no classification issues.
