EGO-s is the 2012 EGO11. EGOs made in 2011 were the EGO11, 2012's were called the "s"
I'm pretty sure.

From what I understand there is an unmilled Ego floating around Northeast,Ohio. I have not seen it myself however I have talked to people that have. The person will not allow people to shoot the gun or take pictures of it, and the person fills up his tank after ever round. But people who have seen it say it sounds the same as an Ego 11. That really doesn't say to much about how the gun shoots

It's a bolt/valve combo. Price is pretty much inline with what you would pay for for a lp poppet and pillow bolt from Bob Long.

They could have easily just dropped this dart kit into an Ego 11 and even used people who noticed the sound difference as feedback. "Hey... why does your ego sound different than mine?"
I think the dart bolt will be part of the upgrades on the 13

If we do see a Ego 13 in October all the Dart parts will be in it for sure.

Since eclipse goes off of turns on the LPR, I assume thats how they will instruct you to do it with the DART kit. Anyone have the instructions from the new kit? |

damn, cant believe i read the entire post... well, i have a etek4 at the moment and i love it (despite of had problems with the frame and trigger)... but now, im thinking on sale the etek and buy a new ego11... what do you suggest me, buy the ego11 or wait until a new ego release?
PD: cant believe that some people really think that this no-millin marker could be the new ego13...
PD2: any news about the prototype?

From what I was told there are NO more Ego 11/S guns left from PE and they are not getting any more. You can only get them from online retailers or paintball fields that have some in stock so my guess is that there is a new one coming out.

If they do release a new ego at cup, it will probebly come with Dart kit, new milling, csl frame, that's all I can think of as of right now.
We will just have to see!

Not sure where you heard that - loads in stock on PE's website... plus they released all the GEO3 colours for the EGO-S (11) too.

Heard that straight from Heather when I called to see what colors they had in stock. She said they have none left and and not getting anymore. |

This is probably what will happen, I LOVE my 11 with the Dart kit, I just wish it had the CSL frame to make it a little easier to disassemble the marker. And it makes no sense to have 2 separate frames moving forward from a inventory perspective.
I just can't see how much they can really improve right now on the marker, I think the next ego will be the minor tweaks above and possible some new body milling, but nothing that would make me want to sell my 11. |

But not releasing new markers with only minor tweaks seemed to be part of the reason they stopped doing yearly releases as it is.
