yes they are $60 for every extra one you need. 5 Man teams will recieve 7 chips and if a gun breaks down NPPL will take off the chip and put it in your back up gun

but wat will they do when ur gun breaks down while in the tent... you dont exactly have 20 minutes to casually stroll over to a booth and have the board casually taken off ur gun and casually put into a backup.

The chips are $60, wow that is insane. You can nearly buy an entire board for that price.

For those who will be arriving Wednesday/Thursday night, the registration tent will be open 1 hour prior to the start of the first game in order for teams to check in each day of the event. We will also be there until the last game ends or when the sunlight is no longer. See you all in HB!!!

You all find a reason to ***** about everything. $60 divided 7 ways isn't that much to get a spare chip. Most of you spend 1200 on a gun alone. Stop complaying so much. NPPL I beleive your doing a fine job. Room for imporiment yes, but overall just fine

No they are getting ****in greedy they know HB is the most sought out event of the year besides world cup so they jack up the prices a substantial amount

and what if 3 players on the team have a back up gun? is everyone on the team suppose to help pay for their back up gun chip? i think not

also this is gunna cause severe sandbagging in the "cheaper" divisions giving no one a chance this

i have always loved NPPL but they just dug there own grave imo

Taken from the NPPL rule book:

Any team submits a roster that does not qualify for the division the have applied to enter can/will
be bumped to the qualifying Division with no notice from the League. Increased entry fees will be
due before the team is allowed to play. The team may also pay the higher “late fee” for
registering, approximately $200.0

Is this rule put in place to prevent teams from sandbagging and playing down a division or is it also designed to prevent teams from playing up? My instinct tells me its the former, but with all these changes to the structure of the league, I just want to be sure.

Can I register a team in the D2 division even though the majority of the players on the roster have a D3/D4 ranking in the NPPA or are simply unranked/have never played an NPPL event before? Or will they bump the team down a division (or two) without saying anything and charge us more money?

not sure where your head is but take it out of there and take a step back.

if the prices are increasing because there are less teams, then they should not just up the entry for everyone that is playing. what they should be doing is trying to figure out what to do to get more teams to play NPPL. at this rate, and with exactly what you said ( ) then that means each year, with less and less teams, the ones that are playing will have their entrance increased by 10% or more from the following year. That will happen until no one wants to play or NPPL goes bankrupt.

I have no complained once about the entrance fee but i thought it was way high. But when you come in here and say something as ignorant of that, you have shown you obviously do not know what will come of this if it continues to happen down the road.
