Madman's Etha 2 Review

This thing isn't an Etha... it just CAN'T BE!! It is too good to be one!

I might not even get to make a written review... been really busy

Excellent use of explosions. I feel like you captured the battery update perfectly.

How did you setup the trigger? Short or a longer pull? What tank do you usually use?

At first I had lots of trouble getting the trigger to feel right. Then I made it comfy by accident taking the gun completely apart. I think I bent the spring a bit when pulling it out of its slot and it felt so much better when I put it in the frame

Now I've got it set long and light but there's no rattle when resting or drastic change in tension when pulling it. Still not like the higher end triggers though.

For the tank I had to put a reg extender on my Guerrilla 68 bottle with Ninja reg and now I run that permanently, it points better and the gun doesn't get so close to my face anymore.

As far as the trigger goes, will it be able to take like gtek aftermarket triggers or something?

They use a different trigger than the Gtek, or Gtek 160R. I'd suggest checking out the Etha2 manual.

Give it a couple weeks after it's released & I'd bet Deus003 will have some printed triggers available (assuming the switch activation portion as seen on pages 24 & 32 isn't too thin on the OE trigger to be printable). I know I'd be up for a blade trigger that closely imitates the CSR blade.

Thank you for throwing it....three....damn......times!!!! I know there are still the ignorant skeptics out there that will say grn is just "cheap plastic"....but if that cannot at least shut down the argument on the durability of grn I honestly don't know what else can.
If I didn't already own my Gtek this would be my gun of choice without a doubt...durability inside and out. I might change my tune when someone prints off a sweet looking ripper sleeve though....
Nice job once again Miguel!!!

Just shot the Etha 2 today. Nice shooting but really, it is really ugly! My faithful Gtek still looks so much sleeker and much nice looking. The Etha 2 looks like a Lego toy.

Being a molded polymer body on the Etha 2, PE could have easily molded a killer slick body styling only the most expensive 5 axis can do on a milled alum Gtek.
