Youre implying Phil Luckett was the only referee to ever derp.

You're implying that a few isolated incidents with the regular officials can somehow equal the absolute insanity of the past three weeks. Of course, you are a Seattle fan so of course you want to believe the regular officials are as awful as the replacements were.

Everyone can find one call in a game that "decided" the outcome of a close game. Bottom line is, the NFL has the highest % of right calls of any major sport. Not saying that there wont be blown/bad calls or whatever, but the quality of officiating is going to go up.
If you're nailing an MG 5, and you get downgraded to an MG 1, that MG 5 is going to feel like an MG 100 when you go back to her.

I am pointing out that ONE official derping is quite a bit different than sixteen crews going full retard at the same time.

steelers/seahawks super bowl, packers/cardinals divisional game a few seasons ago, bears/cardinals "they are who we thought they were" game, etc... There's plenty of examples of the "real" refs sucking dick, and for the most part the officiating has been okay. Obviously, there's instances where the officials **** up, its going to happen regardless. Overall though, these officials haven't been nearly as bad as some would have us believe, and I hope the media continues to bash horrible officiating when the "real" ones come back(protip: they won't, never did in the past, won't start now). I'm not too concerned about when the old officials come back since these first three bears games were some of the better officiated bears games i've watched in the past 3 or so seasons.
Also, this call was no more ludicrous than the calvin johnson "no td" vs the bears last year and those refs didn't get nearly as much hate. Face it, one of the biggest differences between these guys and the other guys is that the media is actually exposing the mistakes, where as they've swept them under the rug in the past.

I did nothing of the sort. You listed some boneheaded crap the replacements have done, specifically stating the regular refs wont make similar boneheaded mistakes, so I listed the similar boneheaded mistakes.
Ill concede the replacement refs are no where near as good as the regular guys, but this idea that a blown call like the one at the end of monday's game would never happen with regular officials is ludicrous.

yea, because one just as bad happened last year. Happens every year. People are going to be sorely disappointed when the refs come back and theres not much difference. Then again, they may be set up for success no matter what because everyone is convinced they are worlds better, so they'll just get the benefit of the doubt.

THANK YOU. This is what I've been saying all along. Its not going to be all sunshine and rainbows when the reffs come back, but you're exactly right, the only difference was the media called them out on it instead of just sweeping it under the rug like in the past. Remember Hercules call in the Denver/San Diego game week 2 in 2008? I mean, I'm sure we could go on and on and on with **** officiating in games in the past.

The honeymoon phase will last a little while, and by mid season it'll wear off and everyone will be back to their usual selves blaming the reffs for late game calls that cost their team, and I will lol.

Boom. Roasted.
Patriot fans will still to this day claim that wasnt a fumble, and say it was the right call, but they'll also swear up and down that FG was no good at the end of the Baltimore game....

But as a Cowboys fan, if I don't blindly blame the refs for every bad thing that happens, where do I pass the blame? It's clearly not Jerry Jones/the coaching staff/the team's fault.

Happy to have the real refs back, but I agree with the points made. They certainly weren't perfect before and they won't be perfect now. But like someone above said, I'd rather have 3-5 blown calls per game than 10-12.
Any sport with any set of officials will have problems, mistakes will be made. But having the real refs back should, hopefully, cut down the percentage of mistakes made drastically.

Tuck rule was the right call by the books. So was the FG in the game against the Ravens.
Is the tuck rule stupid? Yes, but it was called correctly given the situation.
Is it stupid that the FG can't be reviewed? Yes, but it was called correctly given the situation.
You have to call it consistent with the rules and consistent with how other refs have interpreted the rules in similar situations. Big calls like those mentioned just draw awareness for rules like that and hopefully brings heat on the NFL to get bad rules changed.

Cool you named 3 games (in how many seasons?) where the refs really ****ed up.
I can name 48 games where the refs really ****ed up just this season.
