Really, I thought one of the most interesting bits of information in here was in the first couple lines of the first post. When the Eyes pictures with Mutiny turned up, it was assumed (incorrectly, it seems) that those were pictures during field testing. Nobody ever said different. Someone may have, or may not have, it's a long time ago now, said that they WERE field testing during those pictures. It's funny what can be learned years after the fact, I suppose.

I thought people knew that part. Mutiny was sponsored by Sly (for goggles) and Angel (for guns). Even modeling the goggles like that was probably breaking their contract.

Most uncomfortable things in the paintball industry to wear and breathe out of, but hey, who cares about that when you look from the future? All of this talk about them would have been great for angel (free advertising) too bad they never passed testing.

I luckily got to try out the Angel Eyes at World Cup Asia 2010. From memory there was no nose bridge to support the weight of the google, only cheek supports which didn't really help stop them sliding down my face (hence they sat pretty low on my big head)
I'm guessing there would have been a lot of issues with the goggles fitting different head/face sizes and the lens was so big who knows if it could have met the stress tests? |

Actually, I'm more curious about the two angels in the top right corner of this picture. They look lasered, but not in a cobra design. interesting...
