Affordablepaintball.com review

Well with all of the advertisements of affordablepaintballs.com, I felt that I would do a review of their service. On August 21st 2007 I placed an order for one case of Heat paintballs to be delivered to Flagstaff Arizona. Knowing that APB is located in Florida I knew that delivery would not be super quick.

Well I started to wonder what was the delivery timeframe so I went to their website and used the online chat feature, that was very pleasant and I was able to get my tracking number. I find out that it is in route for delivery and I left my office to pick up the box at home.

I get to my house and my wife asks me why you ordered laundry detergent? I get into my living room to see a Tide box with a label tapped on it from Affordablepaintballs.com. Now at this point I was wondering why would a case of paintballs come in a laundry detergent box. Well if they lived up to their promise of no broken paintballs, then I could care less. Well to ship a case of paintballs is not an easy thing, and especially across the country. To be fair to this review I took the case to my office and took pictures of the box before, during and after opening. To my surprise there was one case of heat boxed amongst the local newspaper. I took out the case and the box was in great shape, there were no major dents or anything. Tide box or not, it made it here in great shape. I moved on to the grand box opening and saw 4 bags of paint without any breaks or dimples.

Now I bought heat since it is the lowest price paint on the site, and I wanted to see if the low priced goods get the same treatment as the higher priced stuff. In my thought I would say yes. My only complaint is the quality of the heat paint, and that is not APB's fault. First off the color says Orange shell/ Orange Fill. The shell looks like a dark clay color, and the fill is a light to medium orange at best, with a decent fill. This is recreation paint people.

But in my thoughts I give Affordable paintballs a

10 for effort
9 for customer service
8 for delivery (it is free) the packaging could use some work

My suggestion would be for APB to offer paid faster service, this meaning if you want your paint faster, you could pay the difference to get it to you quicker. The website layout is good, and customer service is great. There are not too many sites that are willing to talk to you quick and direct. I will order from APB again, and I am glad they passed my long distance test; this is a great service for people who are not lucky enough to have a field or a good choice of paint to pick from.

Pictures to come

BDR

Hey I thought no one was concerned about the review, but it was still pretty good service, the paint made it just as stated

Shipping seems to be better for better paint, our team ordered 4 cases of Evil and got it in a brown box w/ peanuts and bubble wrap. Still no broken balls, and paint was well maintained.

The shop I usually buy my paint at said they would price match any site's paint price. Oh man they were pissed when I showed them apb lol. Needless to say I doubt they are going to have that policy much longer.
