You will see gains with the adjustable guide as long as it's set properly aslisted in the spring mod thread. But due to the size and location of the ports on the HE bolt you wont see as much of a gain as you would from a NDZ v3m and adjustable guide setup like it says in the spring mod thread.

And polishing parts is a gimik and a total downgrade from stock. Stock parts are made so they are porus to hold lube with an adequately smooth surface. And thats why your polished parts require more maintenance.

A stock bolt surface with properly fitted orings > polished parts.

I agree. Anodized surfaces are harder and more resistant to wear and scratching. In a properly engineered marker, the surface roughness has actually been optimized to hold lube and minimize friction. Sounds crazy, but it is sometimes that case that slightly rough surfaces generate less friction that perfectly smooth ones. Perfectly smooth surfaces have a greater amount of surface contact. Polishing parts to reduce friction generally means loosening tolerances with the seals. I'd rather just properly fit my orings and frankly I'd rather have high reliability with a little friction than reduced friction but FSDO and lube sensitivity!!

A high quality stock finish with properly fitted and broken in orings > polished parts.

Unless you're talking about a type3 anno with isolated polishing where the static orings sit.

well thanks guys, I could always look for a stock HE bolt. I have an ndz v3 in my SFT and I just bought a rhino spring with a spring-ready ndz stinger v3 so maybe I ought to start looking at adjustables.

If your hell bent on polishing parts this is the way to go. The isolated mod gives smooth where needed and porus where needed. But you still wont ever find polished parts in any of my guns. Just a downgrade IMO.

Came on here today, because it was yesterday's tomorrow, but now I realize that it's not coming out until today's tomorrow. I only hope that I don't have to wait until tomorrow's tomorrow.

Hey all, just curious if there are any problems with the coated bolts. I got mine but haven't gotten to use it yet and today is pretty much my first time back into paintball

Lol I know the feeling. I stayed off PbN for a couple months and came back hoping to see a release. Guess it's still coming out tomorrow.

Parker noid. I was running the dwell at 10 before but it had some drop off issues with my other tank so I upped it. Also the field was only filling to 3k which sucks.

I have a sprung nxt that runs at 15-16 ms dwell at 300fps. this weekend at the tournament I had it at 190 psi input and I was getting a full prophecy+ 4 full pods and was still at 2300 psi (filled to about 4200 psi). that was the best efficiency I think I've ever had. I'd say it was really good for such high dwell and input pressure. anyway my whole point is that you may find the dwell not to be the most important part of air efficiency. paying close attention to oring tolerances has been the biggest thing with mine

^Are you using an HE bolt? If that's the case, dwell doesn't really matter because you're firing from a fixed amount of air. The dwell could be 12 seconds and you'd still use the same amount of air.
