Thinking about just going to smartpowders and making my own preworkout instead of buying one of these prop blend tubs, however not sure exactly what I should have in it. I really specifically enjoy the energizing and enhanced concentration aspects from my pre.

Shopping list:
- Creatine mono (obvi)
- Beta Alanine
- Caffeine
- taurine
- L-Arginine
- L-Tyrosine

I don't know much about the last 3 ingredients, but if any of that is a waste of money or if you have a good substitution idea please speak up

Add crystal light packets to the list.

Simple solution to the DMAA...buy the 100 caps @ 20mg a piece they have there, and then break them open and pour them into your powder. Bam, 2000mg of dmaa in a tub.

yesterday took 320mg sulbutiamine by itself preworkout (not capped) tasted like **** but manned through it in hopes of feeling some great effects. noticed nothing.

today took 650mg sulbutiamine by itself preworkout, tasted 2x as bad and didn't notice anything again.

figured if i took it alone i would be able to distinguish its effects from other things, but does it only work along with stims or something? shouldn't there be noticeable effects at this dose by itself?

it's too late for me to return it since it's opened, but theres 99/100g left in the package so might try and sell it :/ disappointed. although tomorrow i may try a 1g dose to test it out

I notice a slight effect from it alone, along the lines of how a 5hr energy feels. Has much more effect when taken with a stim though. I started buying capped, there ois hardly any price difference between the two to justify going with powder.

I find that it focuses stim energy really well. I concur that alone it's almost useless until you dose in the 1500mg range and there is no good reason to do that, and some decent reasons not to.

combine with caffeine and 1,3dm and you WILL feel a difference at 500mg. I've done all the binary combinations of that triangle and the full combination is far more potent than any 2.

lurk, in combination with caffeine and 1,3-dmaa would a dose lower than 500mg be noticeable? say 300mg? or is there pretty much no reason to go any lower.
