on training days (5 days/week) i stay at a pretty decent sized calorie surplus, and on my rest days (2 days/week) i've been eating only about 100-200 calories less but doing 30mins cardio which puts me at a caloric deficit 2 days a week.
my goal in doing this is to still be able to gain muscle by keeping a surplus on lifting days, but also lose a little bodyfat and stay leaner than i would if i were to stay at a surplus 7days/week.
my question is... by eating at a deficit on non-training days, how much muscle gain am i sacrificing than if i were to be in a calorie surplus all week?
i'm thinking the difference in muscle gain will be relatively negligible, but i dont know much so im looking for more experienced opinions

can i get some smarter suggestions? im trying to stay lean while bulking, unfortunately being endo and a past of obesity means i pack on weight quickly.
this week i've seriously cleaned up my diet, could that be enough to lean me up a bit even if i stay at a surplus all week

yeah it could be enough, but you won't know until you stick with it.

Revamp your routine, and you might be able to do it for a month or so

just eat cleaner, dont give me that bull about being endo and have a past of obesity
its impossible, naturally, to not gain ANY fat while bulking

Except for those who are obese, new to lifting, or have freak genetics, ect. But not likely.

Chicken Jumbalaya
1 box jumbalaya dinner mix (25/110/1) 549 Cal
2 pounds boneless/skinless chicken breast (208/0/12) 895 Cal
1 tbsp cooking oil (0/0/13.5) 120 Cal
3 Cups water
Totals:
233/110/26.5 (1610 Cal)
I dumped out the oil once the chicken had cooked so the fat macros might actually be ~half of what I have listed ^

Not a lot. Haven't seen any negative effects from it so don't really plan on changing it. Last thing I need is to eat more food that has little to no calories in it.
