sorry about my abscence, just returned from a week in florida. It seems what questions needed to be answered were taken care of however you guys are really good at asking em the second I arrived down there XP.

Now yes, I have been in contact with the Red Team leader and we have agreed that sides are lopsided and that will be taken care of, sadly on the day of the event. It may become necessary that one team switches over if the odds are really bad, however I am hoping that we will have enough from walk ons and what not to balance it out. Now I know, the last thing that you want to happen is that you get your grand team built, and then on day of someone has to switch because of poor recruitment or what not.
We are doing our best to make sure the teams will be even for day of, just remember no one enjoys a walk over.


That being said, the guys at Battlecreek are doing some great things for helping me get this set up. Tomorrow I will be in contact with Steve Nelson to talk about getting this map out to you guys (once again sorry for the delay on that)

This week we have a meeting planned the day before the event to cover last minute details towards the event and get everyone on the same page.

We have the word out in the 518 for this event. Hoping to see a decent turnout from our players for a road trip. Keeping our fingers crossed. But we have put this field on our list for future events that will be coming up for you guys in 2013.

Do not worry for we are going to do our best to make sure that does not happen. That would be worst case scenario and we are currently working to avoid that.

General Decker checking in... Sorry for the delay in posting. Our Internet donkeys may not be as fast as yours but they are determined and the message always gets through. Last week we finally had one trained to come back but then Jehabeeb got hungry and well, let's just say we have to start training all over again.

For those that seem to be worried about the red team numbers, we may be fewer and farther between but I can only say this will be a fun and challenging battle that will end differently than some expect. I have a great deal of respect for Todd and the teams he is assembling to fight for blue. I know we will have our hands full but fear nothing.

I very much look forward to this and know all will have a good time.

Anyone that prefers a challenge and wants to bring Jihad on the big and powerful blue team, we offer 70 virgins in exchange for a blue General kill. (We had 72 but someone got into the contraband cabinet and well... nevermind). I can be reached through my 2nd in command or these forums. My sat phone battery is dead and the dam donkey ate my charger so no calls for now.

Ah, finally....the Taliban is starting to stick their heads out of their caves! They may have the high ground in this operation, but they are out-gunned and out-manned. We have the resources to put the heat on any mountain we want. Keep hiding your donkeys in caves, because your going to need them to haul when you get buried by tons of rocks when your mountain range gets leveled by US bomb runs.

Decker and I have met before during a hurricane and he knows my talent for pulling together great teams to dominate games. He knows weather can't stop me from finding him utilizing the talented players that run through the woods wearing a BLUE arm band. I know he has a great deal of experience in the sport and commanding teams in these kind of games, but I wasn't born yesterday.

Either way...we are ALL going to have a blast at this game! It will be very interesting to see how things play out.

Game update. First off, it is good to hear from the Red Team....I had to contact him through a series of mirrors then I had a bag placed over my head and was put in the back of a car for a few days while driving around..

Now the more important bit.

Generals will on be able to be taken out by a headshot. This will make them come out of their caves and nice warm government office buildings!

On the day of the event, we will be having our mandatory player briefing at 845 am. It will be held outside of the pro-shop. It will cover the rules of the events and give a general time-table so everyone can be on the same page.
