They are, I hate every journalism I have ever encountered and one of my current BA's is combined with the journalism students. Makes me want to rip my hair out.
Does make for fun debates though when we start bringing up facts and reliable statistics.

I knew a person who went to fox news as a fact checker. He quit after a year because the 100k salary wasn't worth it to him.
