Had a leak coming from down the barrel of my creed, swapped a faulty o ring. Shot fine for a while and is now leaking again. Could my tank be putting out too high of an output, hence blowing my o rings? what else could cause this?

Don't check the orings......replace them. Usually a barrel leak is the cup seal. Do you have the updated LP poppet with the black oring cup seal? Or the white poppet? If you have the LP metal poppet you probably need to change the cup seal oring. If you have the white poppet it could have gone bad.

If it's not that then it 's probably the front most valve body oring. I'd replace them all, lube them with dow55 and slide the valve body back in. Let it sit 24 hours so the dow 55 can swell the orings and create a better seal. Then you're done.

I can't remember if the creed uses standard or metric orings(I never replaced any of mine) so make sure you use the proper kind. I'm sure someone will let us know.

so i did some research, and i think my ninja tank puts out too high of a pressure for the creed and keeps breaking the o rings

If your tank regulator isn't working properly this may be possible. I run a high pressure tank on my creed for best results actually. 800 or 850 psi crossfire(red) and it works fine. The creed actually runs best on HP in my experience.

If the leak is coming down your barrel it's a valve/cup seal issue. If you're wrong about that, then it could be one of any number of things. Sometimes a leak sounds like it's in one spot but it really isn't.

Air up the gun and put your finger over the bolt tip. Does the sound get quieter? Or stay the same? Quieter means cup seal/ front valve oring. No change means it's somewhere else.

Sometimes you can push down on your bolt pin and if you hear a leak it often means your valve orings need to be changed out.

You have nothing to lose by trying. You have to lock down the location of the leak somehow or you can't solve the problem.

Inspect the front face of your valve where the 610 oring meets the face. The front face may be worn. That is a last resort though.
