I have seen a whole lot of Christ Crew threads go up. It is somewhat cluttering the thread. For now I made a sticky. Please post everything about Christ Crew in this thread. I would appriciate it if you cooperated!

Forum Conduct Guide

• Do not e-fight. Discussions are a good thing, but back and forth contrary, rude post are not beneficial and often lead to bannage.
  
• Do not respond to 'trolls'. These are pointless inflammatory post by people that are not part of the tread with the intent of instigating e-fights.
  
• Do not make a post containing only the number of the post.
  
• Do not avoid the 'swear filter'. Banned words are blocked by the forum and replaced by '****'. This is not limited to profanity. Other words are also on the banned list for various reasons. Don't use the first letter and * out the rest or put spaces in it.
  
• Do not post items for buy/sell/trade or wanted to buy in threads not intended for it. There is forum sections just for B/S/T and WTB.
  
• There is a new option for quoting, 'multi-quote'. it is this button in the lower right corner. It is great for when you are reading through many pages. Just click it in each post you want to quote and when you'er ready to post, click 'post reply' and they will all be in your post. This cuts down on having to post many times and keeps things in order.

Well, NEW thread. So now what can we do to make CK be more visible and grow? BTW, before we get into that, I have the roster in xl format, but I can't figure out how to attach it as a post without actually making it an attachment. Does anyone know how? As it is the member's roster is SOOO long we need to trim it down in size before we called up on it.

Anyway, we have so many new members and new names to remember, but I want to know what we can do to make Ck more visible. Not just in PBN, but I mean the actual field. That is where rubber meets the road.

We were talking about it in the last thread (actually quite on topic). I had mentioned that CK has grown so much that we need to pay our respects to the people that have helped carry it this far and reach you and I through their support.

The people in bold are the OS Ck'ers. I said we should acknowledge them when they post.

BTW Corey, could you delete your post (#6). I want to have the 3 basic posts up first (how to join, members conduct guide and the roster). Thanks!

I guess it's like this:
I'm exhausted with giving of myself to people, I take care of people and am good to them because that is what I am supposed to do. It has me to the point where I am so physically and emotionally drained I can't function. I am no longer happy with my life. I know Christ loves me and will never give me more than I can handle, but I can't shake the feeling of being unloved. I am ready for the next step in my life find a good woman start a family and whatnot. Seems like day may never come, this may sound retarded to some of you, but as many are called to be good business men, good athletes or whatnot. My calling in life is to be a good father and a good husband, and bring Christ to the world through the love I have for my family. So it's like while everyone else is living their purpose I am just waiting for mine to come that day when I get to truely live what God desires for me.

I completely understand. As a matter of fact, I prayed to God after getting dumped by a girl I thought loved me, that I was throwing in the towel. I didn't want to see another woman alive. I had pursued several girls that were godly and all had shot me down. I finally had a chance to make this last girl happy and I went all out (I mean I pulled all the stops as far as lavishing her), but she told she didn't love me and went out with another guy the next day.

Well, I learned (and I think this is the same lesson for you) that it is in God's time and in His terms. When I prayed that night I was mad, hurt, lonely, sad and everything in between. I ended up crying and just pouring myself out to God and telling him that I would serve Him, even if it meant all alone.

Soon after (like maybe a week) I met my now wife, and I instantly fell in love (of course I didn't let on. I seriously looked at her as she walked in to the youth group and in my mind said "I'm gonna marry that girl". Then you know, like a total guy, I checked her out and she was everything I had asked for (sorry if it sounds rude or demeaning but it wasn't like that at all, it was all clean "checking out"). And she had all the qualities I had prayed for too, she loved God as much as I, loved kids (became a SS teacher), loved life and had similar yet distinct interests as me.

Point? You need to pray for God to BRING you this girl you are praying about. Be specific in what type of girl you want (and not a girl because you might not see the one God does bring you) and wait. Yes. It is hard and lonely and bitterly cold, but the reward will make up for it. TRUST me on this.

yeah man i love school. i miss it soooo much. i love all the homework and tests and all the teachers that try to make life hard. i can't get enough of it. school is my favorite thing.

Well see here is the deal, I went through all of that already. Then I met a girl about 6 years ago and we were really good freinds never dated or anything and she kinda just waltz back into my life a little less than two years ago. She is everything that I want however, she has some serious issues, IE anorexia/bulemia, and some family issues. Neither of those thigns bothered me, I just dealt with them and continued to love her, well they pushed her away from me. I had spent so much time in prayer prior to dating her asking if this is what God wanted and it was. We dated for almost a year and then brok up in nov. hadnt heard from her in a couple months and then i get a phone call. I miss you and no matter who I date none of them compare to you, but I have some growing up to do. This was not a suprise because I have often dated girls and they realized I was a good thing after the fact, but this was the girl that I knew I as supposed to be with. Things are kinda crazy with her and she isnt treating me the best so i am just a little heartbroken on top of it all.
