today while inspecting the paint for a seem. I found out how they make it "seemless" they make the seem deeper than the actually surface of the ball. doesn't efect accuracy or anything. pretty smart. RPS Staff are genius's(sp?)

It's like a normal paintball, but then covered in a liquid so it is seemless. Then the liquid hardens and you get the seamless shell. So in reality there are really two shells.

My paint's seem dips down deeper the that surface. They dont dip it in a liquid cause then it would deform.

i HAVE SHOT THIS PAINT AND IT WORKS GREAT MY TEAM USES IT AT PRACTICE AND WE HAVE HAD NO PRBS WITH IT BUT WHEN YOU SHOOT IT IN A BUSHY OR A GUN WITH THAT KIND OF BOLT IT GETS STUCK IF YOU CHOP BUT THEY ALSO MAKE MARBALLIAZER ADVANTAGE THAT WORKS GREAT TOO IF YOU HAVENT TRIED THIS PAINT YET I WOULD DEFINATLY DO SO IT ROCKS AND IT REALLY ISNT THAT BAD IN PRICE AND AS FAR AS ZAP GOES I THINK THEY SUCK BUT THAT IS JUST MY OPINION RP ALL THE WAY.
PEACE

the advantage paint isn't a higher price, its the same price as the orignal paint. there not chargeing more for the same paint. all it is is a diff shell.. its probally saving RPS money too.

OK, I never said it was dipped. All I said was it was covered in like a liquid. I'm not sure how the process is done and neither are you. All that I know is that if you cut the shell in half you will see, an outer layer, (which I reffered to as the part that was dipped),and then the normal shell setup.(two halves).

Ok after doing this, I found a little bit more out about this paint.

the dull look and dry feel is some type of liquid sprayed onto the paint to mak it that way, the orgianal shell is biodegratable(it disolved in my hands with water), and the fill is very think and doesn't come off your skin.

all though, the spray isn't to make the paintball smooth, from the looks of my case of advantage paint, all the seems are dipped down under the surface.

We are checking our inventory to see if we can put the RPS Advantage online. We should be able to start offering it by Friday. We always have some of the lowest paint prices on the net. I'll keep you updated. I can't wait to shoot it myself. I have seen it though, Very weird texture.

i shot the new marbs with advantage shell very accurate with my shoddy progressive barrel better than any other paint i have used. heres what rps is advertizing........

1. always perfectly round.
2. more consistant size/velocity
3. more accurate
4. more resistant to moisture and humididty

rps advantage us patent # 5554385

they produce advantage in slam balls, lighting(new paint with sparkles on it), allstar, el tigre, marbalizer and pmi premium.

the new paint is a bit smaller in bore too

Isn't PMI and RPSherer the same thing? RP makes the lower end paintball for PMI, don't they?
