Dairy Queen blows. There are much better places out there. I suggest you find some.

That being said, we have a fund raising card that is sold by one of the schools that has a lot of Buy one/Get one deals on it. Blizzards are one of them, but the bogo Papa John's is WAY better.

Dairy queens around here have solid food. Are they all corporate or singly owned?

Some of both. But either way, the ingredients that are coming in are all made and distributed by IDQ (International Dairy Queen). The quality of about 75% of that stuff SUCKS.

For instance, the Flamethrowers, the Flamethrower sauce they use tastes, and smells like plastic. It really does. That's why they put the lettuce, and tomatoes on them.....to mask all the **** flavors. And the meat is of FAR less quality then McDonald's, while still being way overpriced. It's pretty terrible.

The only reason I know all of this is because I worked at DQ through all of HS and up until a few month's ago. I also worked at McD's for awhile as well, which is why I compared them.

Go to DQ for ice cream, not for burgers.

I work at an ice cream only DQ.

Tag-along blizzard was a bit of a let down. It was pretty tasty, but nothing special, I could have gotten nearly identical taste out of a Reese's blizzard.

That was the first DQ I have had in years.
