Etha 2 questions 1st electro marker

I received my HDE Etha 2 last week but haven't played with it yet and i have a few questions.

Has anyone else purchased the hde but the marker case wasn't the hde case? Its not a big deal was just curious?
I need a new tank am i supposed to use low or high pressure tank? Any recommendations?
Barrel backs does pe make any that match the marker

Grats on the purchase.

Not sure on the HDE case issue.

It seems like the standard output for most entry level tanks is 800ish psi and the Etha 2 can use that fine, but I think it's maybe a whisper quieter using a lower pressure.

I'm using a Ninja Pro V2 reg, but you don't need anything that fancy. I had no problems with my Guerrilla Air/First Strike reg as well.

Assuming that was a question you can check their website. Any cocker threaded barrel works.

I purchased an HDE Etha 2 last week and my case is HDE matching the gun anno. The included barrel back is not "HDE" but olive or drab matching the overall color scheme of the marker.

This is how the HDE Etha 2 comes in this photo. The back is a standard color instead of HDE. All Etha 2 cases come as pictured. We are not sure exactly what you are asking but I hope this helps.

Did you buy it new? Where did you get it? My etha2's both came with the camo case but I got the black version etha. The tip should be hde if you bought it new.

The cases aren't all HDE. We have had a load of cases made using material from our gear bags. So there are stretch pattern ones, grey ones, etc etc

We do the FR backs that take the Freak inserts and we also do Shaft5 backs in various sizes that should match and will work with the HDE tip you have.

Thanks for the info on the tanks. I was looking at the 1st strike tanks so that helps greatly. The question about the back was more so of a color options. Looks like it is time to finally invest in a freak kit.

Personally I would go with a Ninja tank/reg. we do all our testing with Ninja tanks and know them inside out. Ninja tank, remove all the shims. Job done.

You don't need the V2 though. The V1 is great.

That's a Stretch pattern. I'm sure someone would trade for an HDE.

I like that case you have. I would like to trade but shipping cost wouldn't allow it to be worth it. I'm sure someone would trade locally if you can.

Shipping cost is less than $14. Medium flat rate Priority Mail box. It's not nothing, but it's not a deal breaker, IMO.

I bought another Etha 2 for my son since I love the Etha 2 so much. Sold my 3.5 to make it happen. I ordered HDE Earth and I received the black case also. It's a good look and helps me determine which Etha 2 I am grabbing from my gear bag. Thank you Jack for making an amazing product. Can't wait for some new bodies people come out with

I'd be swapping those cases around, so the HDE marker is in the HDE case, and the black marker is in the black case

Already done. It makes it easier to determine which is which in the gearbag.

I was able to finally get out and play at Cousin's paintball Big Game over the weekend. I have to say the Etha2 was a dream to shoot. The only issue i had was my tippmann hopper just could not keep up with it, so i purchased a dye ltr. I had no issues with the gun itself. I really love it.

Glad to hear you are enjoying it! And yes, a good loader is crucial!

Great picture too! Thanks for sharing.
