Truthfully I envy ground pounders for all the sunshine and fresh air they get.
Amine, recycled fart, and 100 day old air. That **** puts hair on your chest.

(see red for reasons why its not a MILITARY force)
you have to do a **** ton more? You dont go home as much? Trying being in 3rd SFG, where you spend 6 months in SOUTHCOM, 2 months home, 6 months there, 2 months back. guys do that their whole lives.
Or how bout the marine corps? Dont they do like 7 months downrange, 1 year til their next 7 months. so ever two years i believe.
or the air force. wait nvm.
or the regular army, spends 12 months NOT within distance of our beach houses and beautiful women (actually beautiful ones are reserved for us cold blooded killers), and then have 2 years til the next.
i mean its cool that you have like one MOS that shoots the engine of a drug boat, its cool that you have another MOS for saving people in water. But theres something the rest of the military has that trains all that stuff in one school... wait for it, wait for it, RRRRAAAAANNNNNNNGGGGGEEERRRRRR!!!!!

Uhhhh . . . a year is really really lucky with really great planning.
My last workup was five months with a month and a half of leave thrown in.
