Hey Sam would you say a good day of scrim (like last weekend) would be better than ninjaball? Or should we just wait a month to do another scrim?

I would put my money on Ninjaball.

The more tourney experience the better. Not to mention that if we can win it than that is more money for the team bank. Which is what I would suggest considering we have three tournies nearly in a row.

From talking to Ron I ge tthe drift that they are really busy as well. He suggests we try to get this all figured and paired up after the next NWPS event. Lets not worry about it until than and play everything as our schedule permits.

Dosnt sound like there will be anyone at DBSi again this week...

As for drills Sam,

I aint to good with drills. Dont like them to be honest. I know they are important but I hate them. Essentially it works best for me to simply pick something(s) to work on and do them. Either way I will do them though as I know it is important.

Continuation of the 2 on 3 root them out drill that Danny told us to do.
-Obviously if everyone is sore from doing it than we need to keep doing it. This would force the three to be more aggressive (something we need to work on) and the two to relax in that kind of situation (something I know I need to work on) and to cross up properly. This is something we need to work on. Something we need to do though is to set a length of time for the drill. About a games length.

I like your drill with the first one to the snake. Lets run that some more. I know Brandon wants to more of a front/mid possition so this is probably something that is key for his development of that. Not to mention it helps with the running and shooting.

What where you thinking?

Brandon, Justin..you guys got any ideas?

I like that drill a lot, I think it is good...I would also like to just work on staying low walking and shooting up to the 30's so I can lane and not get laned out at the same time...but that is an individual skill....I would say if we can work on the 3-5 vs 2 push that would be good on both ends...If I'm working on playing more mid/front, I need to be able to work on closing games and communication with you guys

Spider cup is in Oregon, i dont know anywhere up here doing it. Also you have to shoot Spyder guns, and I think you need to have some sort of connection with some sort of Spyder field?

Drill wise, yes, 2v 3+, and the run n gun, or jousting, which is really what it is, is what i think we should work on. im not saying we work on drills for the entire day, but its the best way for us to get good quickly. some sort of breakout drill would be good too, that way we can all work on laning, run n gun, and sliding.

keep in mind we need to think about this stuff before we practice, cause it will cut into our playing time, and i know everyone is fresher when theyre not all tired from work and then paintball.

ninjaball ftw!

Ok thats what I figured about spider cup. Sillyness...no one wants to shoot a kingman gun.

I will try to think of some other things to do.

So...

"Paintball2Xtremes"
What the locals do...Northwest has our second place finish in the NWPS.

I do! I still love my Compact 2000 that I had back in the day.

I wish that were current, we have just taken 1st in NWPS.... I guess I'll have to wait 3 months?

anyone notice how those guys always have an excuse like "i would have shot you but..."

im out of paint.
im out of air.
my gun doesnt work.
i was shooting someone else.
i did shoot you, you must have wiped.
i broke a ball in the barrel.
or my personal favorite, "i was letting you get real close so i wouldnt miss."

Well I dont want to knock rec players at all but in reality we put alot of time into practicing. They dont and they think running around in the forest is excuse for them to be half *** players, hence the list of excuses.

A tree/rock/pallet isnt in reality that much different than an inflatable bunker.
