Whats funny is that Dye is all about the NT shooting it's super low 145psi when the Droid shot 80-100psi, depending on desired velocity, 2 years ago. And then they claim ALL OVER THE PLACE that it's the most efficient spool gun ever made at a whopping 1700 shots per 68, which an all-stock Droid would get on a bad day.
I really hope this new gun comes out and just blows people minds with performance, just like the Droid did when it pwned the industry.
Most of the lemmings will still buy overpriced Dye ($1600 and not even a barrel kit?! really?!) or Eclipse guns, but kangaroos everywhere will stand up and give them all the finger.
What really sucks is I don't even play paintball anymore and I'm almost certainly going to spend whatever the hell MD charges for the Clone.

Good question, maybe they should hike the price up like everyone else

Here are my guesses:
RX-like frame and reg (complete OLED board of course). One piece tool free bolt removal (similar to the rx). Amazing efficiency, speed, smoothness, and fit/finish. Also I don't think it will have an LPR.

OMG IT has the worlds first ever SLPR (super-low pressure lpr) cause its gonna run at negative psi. worlds first ever anti-matter marker.
but anyhow. The droid was still partly based off the cyborg 07. I'm sure the clone will take after the rx. My only complain with my droid is the frame. the rx frame is BOMB. rx style frame, smaller, shorter body is what were gonna see, just from physical structure. Cannot wait. I had to take out an unsubsidized student loan for the most likely chance that mu urge to purchase this marker will be too great to restrain.

i can't search since too many people are online, **Nevermind**.
anyway, bring it on if they can improve on the already stellar droid, it's bound to be a hit. hoping the price isn't 1600 though haha.

How was the Droid based off the 07??? 2 completely different operating platforms.
And if by "shorter body" that they are doing away with the space between the reg and frame, you're sadly mistaken. Macdev followers love the space too much for them to get rid of it.

I just wanna see the price under a grand, think about how many dye and pe users would switch to macdev for the cheaper price and higher quality marker

Highly unlikely. It's not a mid-range gun. It's a high end gun.

THIS
I came for the space between the grip and the frame, I stayed for the smooth shooting gun. Droid frame rocks.

Aside from milling, what is going to seperate the Tac Drone from the Clone?
The Tac Drone comes with a 1 piece barrel. Assuming the Clone with come with the MatchStik, there is one difference.
Will the engine/bolt be the same? Different boards?

Nice, might have droid sold after this weekend (stock). Then sell upgrades, add credit card on top, and bam new clone.
Now the question is will they be available for sale at cup? I wouldn't mind coming home with a new gun, especially since I'm not playing and odds are I wont be coming home with anything else.

i mean based as in the the frame, the electronics, the way the asa fits into the body. Of course its a completely different platform. But the lower half of the marker is basically a cyborg 07. So i expect the lower hald of the clone to take after the rx.
I too love the gap, and i know that is MD's signature. What I mean is that it will have a smaller overall length.

It could, but I don't foresee it getting too much shorter... People would ***** about the gun not having a "snatch grip" and be "hard to hold just standing around". I myself do not hold any gun by a "snatch grip". I hold it how it's meant to be held. Just my $.02 tho.
IMO, it will be smaller, as in narrower. I think they will have found a way to make the internals smaller.
