The horizontal adapter

I finally have proof of my latest oddball one-off project! Instead of trying to explain it I'll just go ahead and post the pics...

The adapter was built as a variant of the foregrip extender except this one has a very different purpose. It gives the marker something of a "rifle" feel...it's quite a bit easier to aim using this foregrip, although the tradeoff is that walking the trigger has become much more difficult. And let's not even talk about shooting while running...

But in any case, if you're lucky enough to play with the guy that commissioned one of these for his marker, you'll know where it came from!

Nice work, looks great! Combine that with a Stock so the tank can be moved to a backpack and you've got a woodsballers dream (hint hint) :-)

That's very different and cool!

I am really enjoying what you are coming up with for the guns.

This would work well for a project someone discussed with me a year or two ago about putting a Mini into a rifle stock, just like TheEnglishGuy (the other one that is ) above me mentions.

yeah it would coincide with that pretty well. Of course you still have the foregrip as it currently is (or was) which might not fit so well into a rifle grip shape, but it's close...

BT TM-7 and TM-15. Both awesome markers. I just like the thought of being able to use an actual Mini/Axe in a similar fashion. Putting my tank into a vest/harness and using a Mini with a remote line just feels really weird without a stock to shoulder.

I've seen a gun with one of the old gas through stocks on it. Made it super light and agile. Reminded me of how I used to run my mag.

This is frigging insane. My first thought was that it looked like a pump, not a rifle though.

Here's my question: how does it get turned on? You would have to unscrew the barrel to turn it on/off.

It seems to me that your finger can push the button easily without removing the barrel. Changing modes seems more tricky

That is true. Changing the battery would be pretty tricky too.

Battery change should be easy as it's still side accessible (see pic 2). Only minor concern for me would be using a shiny barrel and having the LED reflected, making it viewable from in front and giving away position.

You should attach a chrono at the end of it and wire it to a screen like the Virtue OLEDs.

awesome idea nice concept and clean execution. only thin i see being different is have to screw your barrel on just a bit higher on the barrel, but that shouldnt feel awkward but maybe once or twice...overall good job

Lol, good workmanship on the part (though I assume you'll clean up the milling marks) but that looks so funky. I'm sure the owner will like it, but I can't get over the looks.
