You will need: Evil Omen, Dow 33/Evil Pus, a cloth that will not leave any fibers, allen wrenches, small flat head screw driver.



First push the field strip in out the side in which the pin has a lip:


Then carefully pull on the back block and pull the internals out:


Clean off everything. Lube the carrier, the hammer, and the hammer cushion. Careful not to get any lube on the bolt, as it may lead to swelling. It should look like this:


Now clean out the lower tube. Use something that will not leave any fibers behind. Get the gunk out!
Yuck!


Now if the upper tube needs to be cleaned leave the internals out, other wise reassemble the Evil Omen. Flip the Omen over so the right side is facing up. Remove the screw on the cam arm cover plate and the remove the screw on the feed neck cover.


Take a small flat head screw driver and unscrew the cam arm screw:
It is one the top side of the gun.


If the screw fails to come out, looking from the bottom of the gun, push a small tool through below the screw through the hole. Pushing the screw out:


Now you have complete access to the upper tube:




Now reassemble your gun and your set.

NO, you do NOT need to do THIS cleaning after every game. You are more likely to ruin your gun if you do it that often.
