But from day one for their broadcasting they took the time to plan, start it on time, organize their commentators, didn't talk to people off screen during broadcast, didn't play the same commercial 8000 times that was mixed with it's volume wayyyy to high, actually have commentators that can clearly state the flow of the gameplay, and have indications on what team is what and how many points/bodies/penalities they have. I understand it's their first broadcast, but when my local highschool runs a broadcast for the chess team better than a better budgeted paintball stream (THAT HAS SPONSORS LIKE VALKEN), that's just sad.
Top 5 post time. I remember the first webcast I saw of ironmen vs I wana say it was philly Americans and they didn't have d side cameras but it was fine without it honestly(way better with but still). One thing I will say that the psp does is make layouts that are fun to watch and that's something apl needs to doz just seems a little blah at times

PSP/PBaccess is the epitome of what a webcast should be for a professional/national organization showcasing our top talent. IMO, the APL is not trying to go head to head with them on whose better electronically. Having the announcers acting more laid back, more personal, "not as serious" fits in with the more relaxed "player friendly" tournament being offered.

Find your niche and grow from there. Nothing will compete with the PSP, so make the crumbs as attractive as you can

Quoted, in case you didn't read it the first time. I think this is a really good explanation of what the APL is doing.

After checking in on the webcast a little Friday, as well as watching a few hours of it yesterday I have to say APL does look pretty fun to play and the atmosphere seems pretty chill. Guessing it's the SoCal influence there.

I'm glad this series exists, and it's cool that they do a webcast even if it isn't on the production scale of the PSP because in the end, we all get to watch more paintball and that is never a bad thing.

I tried to watch the webcast the last 3 days, and all it does is play 2 minutes or so and then the 2 minutes that just played repeats ... and it keep lagging, They def. have some kinks to work out in this.

A lot of the webcast issues that I keep hearing about are mainly problems with the persons connection. if you have crappy internet then the live stream wont work very well.
