So I have this old 02 viking(pandora, scm) that will cycle but not fully shoot. I found debris around the valve, so I assumed that was it, but not thats not the case. I have replaced all the batteries and all that jazz. Any ideas?

So when you say that you found debris around the valve, does that mean you opened up your viking? If it cycles, but does not shoot, check the following.

1. See if the bolt is upside down or backwards.
2. Check the dwell. Do you have the original Mac noids, or the Humphreys?
3. If you have the toolkit, did you check the lpr pressure?

Check your dwell. My pandora board will forget its dwell once a month or so. Randomly when I turn the gun on the dwell will be set to 5 and it wouldnt cycle fully.

If your dwell is set right (10 for humphrey, 18 for macs), are you having any other weird problems? I had electrical problems and I needed a new battery snap, on/off switch, and trigger switch. They are pretty cheap to replace, alot less than a new board.

One of my Vikings with a Pandora is doing the exact same thing. But when I go to check, or change the dwell, it wont let me. Its really starting to piss me off...lol. My buddy has the cable and rMod so we are going to flash it this week and see if that helps. I already have one rMod Pandora in my half mill and it works flawlessly.

I assume you have a MAC noid in there. Set your dwell to 17. Set your LPR to 60~80

Im having the same issues. Are you having troubles turning the gun on at all?
rMod helps with changing dwell on the fly, as you adjust everything through the trigger. Just make sure you remember that Dwell is slot 11 on rMod 4.2 version. Although for me, even with rMod sometimes it doesnt change the dwell, I just try and check it till it does.
I think its board issues, Im looking into something new.

Yeah, I do not have a cable for the Pandora and my WAS board died a while back, I guess I could use a new board, whats flashy nowadays? Everything else on my gun looks to be in fantastic shape (orings, wires, hammer, bolt) so the issue must be in the board. I miss my viking, I haven't owned a marker since that worked day in and day out so many tournaments without fail.

Grab another WAS board for $20 and get it flashed to 2.0. Then you're good to go unless you'd rather have a Tadao which will run you ~$90.

WAS will not be making any more of the equalizer boards for vikings/excals. He lowered the price down to 20 bucks to blow them out the door, and get rid of the existing stock.
Theoretically, he's supposedly going to have the MicroEQ, which is a mini-board that will fit into any gripframe, and work with any gun. But, since that was announced in 2k4, and there's been nothing since, don't expect Jim Drew to follow up in his outlandish claims. He's like the Uri Gellar of paintball.

Yeah, but Tadao for the Viking/Excal has been discontinued as well.

I dunno, keep an eye out on e-bay. They show up once in a while.

I still think for the money the Pandora is the way to go. I can almost buy 3 of them for the price of one Tadao. But to each his own. I just ordered a new WAS board from DBN paintball, they still have a few left at $45 each.

You can probably get $80-85 for a Tadao board used. Tadao still has some and there are 3-4 new ones on ebay for $120.

WAS is out of paintball from my understanding. I have also heard that they have/had 200 WAS boards w/o pins.
