Geo 2 velocity issues

So when I went to the field and played today I realized that my gun is having velocity issues. First when I try to chrono it to around 290 I have to really mess with it a lot to even get it close. I try to back it all the way in and then back it out until a get the correct velocity but it seems like it always wants to shoot really hot. I finally got it around 270 and tried to play with it. When I first shoot it on the field it has several drop outs and double feeds since it doesn't have enough pressure to shoot a ball out of the barrel. It will start shooting alright for a while. When we got done and started running drills my guns just went haywire. It seemed like it wasn't getting air very well and I had to use a different gun. I re-lubed the bolt and reg but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?

try a new set of battery. the meter isn't always accurate. reset settings back to factory and try it.

If using a quality brand name battery doesn't resolve your issue, then it is probably your reg. Strip the o-rings, clean the grooves, and replace. While in there, take a closer look at your regulator seal. Pages 48-50 in your manual
