yes and no....the a4 bolt is meant to keep a ball from rolling backwards off the sensi(which would give an incorrect reading as well as partially feed the next ball)....but the soft face is not directly used to reduce chopping...hope that made sense....

goof

i don't think it is to help sensi, since a ball falls straight down. and even if it rolls off the sensor the gun will still fire because it felt the ball before it rolled back towards the bolt.

i figured this out by putting my gun in test mode, and trying to simulate a ball being present with my finger. it doesn't register a solid push... it needs to be a quick tap and it doesn't even have to be hard, like a tap with your finger nail if you remove the barrel.

so yah, the sensi doesn't feel teh ball while it is resting on the sensor, only when it first touches it.

but i TOTALLY agree about teh partial feed of teh second ball when teh first rolls back. when i used to get chops i could even be shooting hella slow.... and when i switched to teh A4 bolt i now have had 0 chops at all, and sensi is working great (as i suspect it has been teh whole time...)

If I got this bolt for my angel LCD would I have to do anything special or just slip it in and im set? Also would it be worth it or should I just keep stock bolt, from what I read on Sausage's reply that its to help with angels with sensi.

Thanks

I guess you missed what I said about helping the paint stack stay as aligned as possible. Like I said, "rollback" is good for the prices at Wal Mart, but not in paintball guns.

Super Glue Gel is the best thing to use for all homemade foamie upgrades!

Oh I get it

ok but do I have to anything besides just slip it in or is that it? I heard that some bolts you may have to adjust the ram for the pin on the bolt alligns with the hammer.
