2014 Announcements (there are a couple of new rules)
Alright guys I want to give you all the heads up on some very key announcements for the upcoming season.
LATE FEE
A first deadline has been put into effect for this season, it will be 10 days prior to each event. Any team attempting to register after this date will incur a $50 late fee. Registration will close 5 days before the event. This is for all division equally.
SO, in example for event 1, if your are a D4 5man team registration cost is $300 until 26 March. From 27 - 31 March, the cost goes to $350. After that, we will see you at event #2...
RULE CHANGES
Undershirts will be fully tucked into pants. I am telling you this now on 21 Jan 2014, so there is no excuses. We will not hold up games because of one player not being informed. Ignorance is not an excuse for violation.
Shoes, socks, undershirts will contain no yellow
For all other pieces of clothing:
5.6.3. The color yellow is prohibited on any players equipment or clothing, except that a player's
jersey, pants or gloves may have yellow, so long as no part of the yellow coloring is more than 0.25 cm from some other color, and no more than 10% of any 5cm by 5cm square on clothing or item is yellow.
5.6.3.1. For reference purposes, 'yellow' is any color similar to Pantone colors 101, 102, 107, 108, 109, 116, 3945, 3955, 3965, and 803, although any head judge may prohibit any equipment they believe interferes with the judges' ability to officiate effectively.
Young guns roster will be limited to 4 players. This is to give more players the chance to play and less to sit in the pits.
The age requirement for young guns has been slightly altered this year. It will now be open to players aged 10-17, not turning 18 before 8 Sept 2014.
Players who have played in a 5man D4 or higher event, regardless of age, are ineligible to compete.
If there is anything else to announce, I will be placing it in this thread.
If you have any questions regarding things here or any rules in general, you can reach me by PM, email, facebook, my cell phone, or other means.
I'd rather get bombarded with "Are these shoe's legal" questions, than to have someone find out the hard way at an event.

No letting it slide this year. This isn't your first rodeo. We have a schedule to up keep as well as a standard. This is a national feeder league and will be handled as such. With that being said you will find that we are the closest series to the PSP and you will enjoy it as if it was the Chicago open every event

Hey, I just had a friend ask if numbers are required on the jerseys. I told him I couldn't imagine that they would be but I would ask anyway for him. Any direction on this would be greatly appreciated.

They are not. No yellow on jerseys and long sleeves are required. Also PSP padding requirements as well. Nonnie can clearify all of this

There's a rodeo this year too?!
And how do we get the IDs mailed this year??
...and are we going to have a season price too? Or just individual event options?

Only 1 team went with the season entry. If you want to do that call me and we can work out a prorated price if paid in full. 2014 PSP id's or cpl id's are required. If you pay for your id before our event. Chris raehl comes to Chicago often and can drop them off with me. Just let me know and I can get them. He'll be in town this weekend feb1&2 to get some work done with me.

We will be able to print cards on the spot as well. But PLEASE prepurchase them so they can be printed ahead of time. Taking a picture and printing on the spot slows down registration.
$30 pre-pay and $40 day of for CPL cards. We also accept PSP ID's. So, if you plan on playing the CPL and PSP, just get the PSP ID.

The appa crew are landing at ohare in an hour. Updates to the series will follow. Looks like xball divisions will be getting a cap. I am expecting out of state teams from as far as north Dakota. Also I'm. Working on a discount if the whole series is paid for before event 1. Like a big paint discount for your team. Suggestions are welcome

To answer Radamsgp07's question from a while back:
Numbers are not necessary on jerseys. Those are used in the professional division for statistical reasons.
All of our jersey regulations are the same as those you will encounter and be enforced in divisional play of the PSP.

Do YG players need psp or CPL id's? Or are they only required to pay the $150 entry fee to compete?
