Old school cocker body with worr frame

ok guys fairly new to the pbnation cocker group, but i've been around for a while. I am starting to think about building a custom cocker, a local guy here in town has a 97 cocker body with a left feed. and i'm always looking for an interesting project, so i was thinking about maybe converting it to an eblade or worr frame, with belsales evo internals or MQ and goodies. this is an odd question i'm sure but will the frame line up with the existing holes? its a factory WGP body that i'm looking at using and since i'm a bit of an oddball probably putting a warp feed on. i couldn't care less about hitting umpteen million bps more a question of will it work without having to drill new holes?

The only issue with left and right feeds is that's it's hard to mount eyes.

If you do go the MQ route, I'm pretty sure Matrix, angel, and ego frames will all line up or if not directly very close to. You can find anyone with a drill press to make another hole if need be.

You also may have an issue with the IVG, I'm not sure if the 97's were threaded or not.

Someone in here will be able to give you a better answer.

Ok, well if it mounts up right I can figure the rest out, I mean I Prolly wouldn't out shoot the warp, or I could find a jam style bolt, my main thing is I would prefer no to have to drill holes in the bottom of the body

Thanks for the input btw

You won't have to drill the body, just the trigger frame. It's a pretty straight forward operation, but I understand not wanting to go that crazy with it.

HMCL(sp?) should chime in. I've gotta know he knows what frames would fit.

eblade frame should bolt right up as it uses the same holes as any other cocker frame.

ego frames do not mount similarly. their front screw is in front of the trigger guard whereas cocker frams the screw is placed further back inside the trigger guard. theres a DIY sticky in the voided warranty section on ego framing a cocker...i think you can put the rear grip frame screw into the one that was holding the ivg set screw....might be a problem if yours doesnt have a threaded ivg. other than drilling a new hole in the frame theres really not much else to it.

i have no idea about angel frames.
shocker frames are VERY close to cocker mounting holes.

only real issue i think youll encounter is the pre-2k's having a smaller valve chamber which may cause issues for the mq2 at lower pressures and higher rof's.

also if you change to an eblade and still use the mechanical valve i think you will need to change the hammer lug from a rounded to a flat one...i may have that backwards though.

edit: DIY ego frame sticky:

Ok, im thinking on using a rat valve, and just the standards e1 frame, don't need modes since is just a nostalgia piece n Prolly not my tourney gun, also any modifications I need to do to the front block? Im just wanting to do this right

nope, everything uses standard threads and spacing as the other parts.

replace 3 way with cocking solenoid, mount frame....done.
