my trail cam pics from this week... I think I need to move the corn pile closer so I can get better pics at night. I deleted probably 10 pictures where I could only see eyes. These are pretty much only does and fawns... Hopefully will see more bucks once the rut starts.

I haven't seen anything but does and fawns. Except for one basket rack I let go. I found some huge bucks tracks though and I am excited. Also I think I have coons on my corn pile. Little bastards will go away once the season starts this Thursday

I started my corn pile 2 weeks ago. Can't hunt it till this Thursday. Anything that walks in front of me I'm going to kill deer or coon.

my early season for doe starts saturday... i think im gonna actually try to fill all 12 doe tags in archery and a buck tag so i can goose hunt more

Went dog hunting a few times so far. Shot at a big buck. Never found him.

I hate that, I should my biggest buck two years ago (easily 120+ inches) and never found him. Then last year I shot a doe with good blood that I couldn't find. Its sickening.

more often than not you are getting out of your stand way to fast. You have to give them about 30 min after the shot to lay down.

is that really necessary? especially since I was responding to the person under you. the fact remains if you put too much pressure on a deer too fast after you shoot it you will lose it.
