Prob not. Rumor is that Pevs will not have any refs to finish out this years tournament. So I guess its walk-ons for the remainder of the year guys and gals.

See this is mad BS. Pev's did this last time too. They get all there teams interested in season prizes and standings and then don't even do a end of the year torny. Thats a stupid marketing plan if you want to keep people interested in it for next season.

actually its pretty smart on pevs part, get everone to play and pay and then not give out prizes and keep all the money. then next go around all the new teams that wanna play a local series or dont have that much money to play epl or gpl and do the same thing and **** them out of there prizes. i for one am pissed and so is my team and im sure most of the other teams are too (bob and dean i know for sure). the worst part is the no one got any notice that the november tourny was canceled we had to hear about it on the nation and thats just common, put thats just my 2 cents

I thought it was common knowledge that the PTS's were like practice tourneys like what skyline does with the beans tourneys. Helps new teams experience tourney ball for cheap. Its also fun/good practice for other players. Although i am kinda mad about the season prizes... o well

i agree that it might be like skyline's beans but look at the cost yea we just started playing paintball in january so its good practice for us but look at the cost for every 3-man your looking at 250-300 dollars weve been there for every tournament, and if you look at the rules and the teams that actually played in rookie division we had teams that played same division last year we did not whine about it because i know you only get better by playing better teams but still if you look at the money we spent you have to think maybe we should have played a different tournament series

Well at least the team I play for will be there next year and we'll probably use PTS, if they get their act together, as a practice time.

ALSO GUYS, I heard that come spring of next year, PEVs MAY open up the grass area for speedball play. So that being said, PTS may be ok next year. Cause you have to remember, PTS was cancelled mostly due to private groups. Therefore, if they have more fields then there shouldn't be any reason to cancel out PTS. Well, unless all the refs decides to up and quit.

i heard reason it was cancelled is that n10cd pulled out of pevs and theie home field is now skyline so pevs did not have anyone to ref the pts and walk-ons at same time but who knows the real reason it's all hearsay anyway

at least we got to make some new freinds and had a great time in 3-man not dissapointed for that just wish we could have finished the whole tournament series seeing that the pevs name is so big in paintball

Man it's a shame to see such a decline in the character of Pevs and the PTS. That tournament series used to be HUGE and it gave so many great players their start. It's a shame to see it fall apart.

It seems ever since Pevs opened their new complex they have been more focused on making money and catering to walk-on players rather than helping out their loyal tournament players that are out there grinding every weekend. It seems that all the heart has been taken out of the backbone of that business and its been replaced with an "I don't care just give me your money" attitude. And what's this I hear about a $30 entry fee? Really?

Yes I know it's a business and I know that Pevs has really been hurting from all the issues, problems, and roadblocks from the Loudoun county zoning board but c'mon.

If you're going to promise a year long tournament series at the start of the season and promise SERIES PRIZES on top of that, how are you going to flake out at the last minute? A very poor display of character is you ask me.

And it's not necessarily Mike or Todd. Those guys are great and do a great job promoting their company and work hard to make their field one of the most desirable places to play at in the area. My complaints pertain more to the Pevs staff and management.

Dude buy a clue do you really think it's their hourly employees who are making money off you. Think about it do you think the employees decided to up the price. Your an idiot. Not only that PEV'S staff and employees didn't ref and manage PTS that was N10CD and from what I heard they walked away because they were tired of putting alot of effort in and getting the shaft regularly. I mean Marty is a great guy and I don't think he would walk away just fo the hell of it.
