Ok so i have a shocker on the way and i know not 1 thing about them..ive had some experience with spoolies with a freestyle back in the day and ive owned an ion. the seller said it could use a good lubing and a 1 over with o-rings (he included a 10x rebuild kit) but it currently shoots with no problems. So i plan on learning the bolt assembly lubing and changing thoes orings and doing the same for the maxflow (anything to be careful of?)...is there anything else i should do like break down the noid? I would rather not mess with the noid if i dont have too.

Also did i get a good deal paid 120 plus fees for this sft

thats not a bad deal, its mostly stock which you could have spent alittle more and gotten one with alot of upps, but thats the perfect platform to build your own personal marker...i wouldn't break down the noid if you don't have to...be careful not to OVER lube it and hand fit the o-rings and your looking at a great shooter!

hand fit? and is the tech t bolt any good?

I have has the techt bolt in all of my shockers but the current one I have now...it is a great bolt. Drop in and go.

he says it has a small leak from the orings being bad should i change every single one in the entire bolt assembly?

Start with the bolt sail oring and then the inner can orings.

he said the leak is out of the back cap..and he said it recently shot fine and he has good feedback but idk trust no one lol

A leak out of the back cap is caused by one of these.
1) outer rear bolt sleeve oring
2) inner sleeve oring
3) rear bolt guide tip oring.

Sometimes when it has this leak you can cover the back hole with your finger and air it up and the leak will disapear.

should i get a refund or is it a commmon problem with old orings...will it be a huge task to try and find/fix the leak?

It's not that hard to find and fix a leak on a shocker. The gun is going to leak sometime, you might as well learn to fix it early on. Find an SFT rebuild kit somewhere to support your new gun and go for it, there really isn't that many o-rings it could be. Jim pointed out 3.

kk and it comes with a 10x rebuild kit so i guess ill play around with it and try and fix the leak when it gets here with the help of pbn!! i was thinking of getting a refund but the only thing i could get with the 120 i paid is like a g3/4 and ik the shocker will shoot soooo much smoother and be more like my old freestyle i loved

Ok i just got the shocker...there is a horrible leak coming out of the bottom of the reg and i think i blew the guage cuz now its facing down not at zero...he sent a shooting video the night before he sent the gun...do you think i blew the reg? plz help and i only have 1000 psi left in my tank to test it!!

ok so i realized he put the maxflow reg together wrong..stuck on a different maxflow and it worked great...didnt even leak out of the back cap like the guy said it did...but i certainly blew the guage lol
